I'm still excited. I think the article is full of it. We'll be a better team this year than last, and I wouldn't be surprised if we flirt with fifty wins next season.

There's been enough change for me to turn into a first-time season ticket holder.

The Heat and the Hawks?

Not so sure about that. I think the fact that those teams are in there makes the article hard to agree with.

I think we'll have a better record then last season.

That article is garbage. Everybody knows that the five teams that are on the downward spiral is;

Boston
Cleveland*
Denver
Houston
Miami

Boston is built for NOW. Its due or die this year and maybe the year after next. However that team is done. To many old vets and Big baby / Rondo cant care that team themselves.

Cleveland gets an * because its what LBJ does.. If he stays, they stay good. If he leaves, that team is done.

Denver, Chauncey has one more year in him before the Kidd effect sets in.

Houston. They're done as it is.

Miami regardless if Wade stays, Riley will find a way to screw that team up and then fax in his resignation. he has done it before and will do it again.

The pistons just pulled a Ford. let the other teams shine right now, but when it hits the fan (late nineties draftees retiring / 03 ~ 05 draftees shake up)in a year or two, Pistons will be at the top of the East once again.

How are we on the downward slide? We got Gordon and Villanueva and our young players are developing.
