For anyone to believe those words when he said it, needs to wake the F up. All demos & libs have done through out history is tax , tax, tax, tax. Yet i lost count how many of his staff didn't even pay there taxes.

Republicans spend just as much, but they choose to have their children and grandchildren pay for it.

You're right. A lot of the Republicans of late have been just as bad about government spending. That's why we have to get in true "fiscal" watchdogs. We need to decrease government size and influence in this country. That means downsizing our overseas military forces, too. That means limited spending going forward. Too bad neither party gets it.

Although Democrates are worse about government spending at least they don't deny the fact that is what they are all about. Increase taxes to create more social programs.
