Welcome to the new thread about the randomized on goings in the lives of the P.com off topic crew: Tayalltheway's Absurd Randomness

Or as I like to call it, TATWAR

Anything about your day, share it in this thread. Amount of alcohol you consumed, drugs you scored, A you tapped, any clubs/bars you hit up, doesn't matter. Anything funny that your kids, wives, annoying neighbors, etc. did, I don't give a ish. Work sucking? Tell us about it. Don't be shy, I'm sure your life sucks just about as much as anyone elses (well, except for maybe GOBLUEADAM's, but that's another story entirely), and we all want to hear about it. Hell, it might inspire me and give me some ideas for any freelance piece I work on in the future. Feel free to comment on the comments of others as well. Just wanting some fun and entertaining banter to keep me entertained as I continue my lifes downward spiral into mediocrity and nothingness.

- Two papers due today. Lovely. I have no idea what the goal of either is (one is about Elizabeth I; the other about the civil rights movement). One's due at 2:30, the other at 6:00. I haven't started on either. Spent all night on the internet performing, you guessed it, absurd acts of randomness. Otherwise known as downloading porn (TayWay note: P.com hasn't gone so PC that we can't even say the word porn, right?). Good times, good times.

- Presentation either today, Wednesday or Friday. I'm not ready today, will probably skip. I sometimes wonder if I'm intentionally trying to flunk out. Maybe I'm just testing my ability to work under duress. Maybe I'm just a masochist. Ish.

- About given up on college. I'm planning on taking some journalism courses during the summer to help with my new career as a freelance writer (and if anyone has any advice on my new career, I'd love to hear it so long as it's actual advice and not stuff like "Don't do it" or "It's not worth it.") that I'm starting after this semester. I may take on a part-time job while working on that, as well. My former bud from high school is working up at Lowes in our town back home, maybe he can hook me up with a job.

- Got a little tipsy on Saturday night, but nothing too extreme. Fun times.

- Going to google some funny images that my cousin would like, and then will post it on his myspace. Yes, this is what I've been reduced to.

- P.com has gone soft. You posers need to step up your game or GTFO. I'm going to go take a nap, and wake up at around 10:30 or something. I'll then proceed to BS my way through two crappy papers that no one will care about 5 months from now. Sometime a little while later on I'll check in on this thread. If there are a ton of responses and interesting dialogue, then I will have done my job. If there are no or only a few responses... then this board really is dead and there is no hope for any of you. Or maybe it will mean that you all actually decided to get lives after 6 years of posting on here, actually have better things to do for once, and I'm the one with no hope because I spent time writing all of this crap when I could've been sleeping, writing on those papers, or performing more absurd acts of randomness.

- In closing, there are 50 vials of cat urine underneath my desk. Possibly. Probably not. But that's why they (aka me and my 15 multiple personalities) call it absurd randomness. Maybe I'm just randomly blurting out things that I would want no one else to know about. Or maybe I'm just being absurd.

I'm off work today. I should be working on my bathroom. But instead I think I'll just load up my arsenal and head to the range.

I love the smell of gun powder...pretty much anytime.

Whoa!!!! Dr. Evil!! Eeker

I have today off and I'm doing laundry and nothing much else. I do have clothes on. I'm awaiting a phone call from U of M. I will probably clean out the cat's litter box later on.

I know...super exciting, right?

Maybe I'll go streaking to spice it up a little.

Tayway, since you write a lot you should get on the CatsPause and start writing about the little WildCats ready to explode.

As for myself, I have people on my list to bust asss. I have lets see here, 3 stooges that I really want to kick their arses for being donkeys. Give me props to whoop their asses.

- Uh, I have like over 1000 posts on Catspause. My screen name on there is Brando Mac. Do you post on there? You need to. You missed all the excitement of the coaching search on the boards last week. There was some old roving reporter dude named Les who stood in front of a door for like 3 days for some Memphis TV station. It was epic. Dude was telling jokes, dissing Memphis basketball, cheering on UK, absolutely classic. CP posters are now posting using pics of Les and The Door as their signatures. You also missed all the great stuff we found out about Billy G, like the fact that he made Perry Stevenson eat two boxes of pop tarts a day, and he apparently shoved Josh Harrelson's head down the toilet at one point or another. Hilarious stuff. Also some great extranormal comedy videos posted of the firing of G. Some not so great. I swear, Rupps Rafters is so unreadable at times. The only thread I can bear to read anymore GYERO on the Off Topic section. Those people are great, have great interaction and are funny as all get out. Similar to what I'm trying to do with this thread.

- Don't know why, but I've never really been excited about baseballs opening day. Maybe it's just because my Reds have sucked for as long as I can remember. I'm only 21, so I don't really remember all the glory years. Every year before the All Star break I usually start thinking "Well, it'll get better next season, they just need to spend a little bit of money." They never get any better. They never spend a little bit of money. And, in spite of knowing all that, I will still be thinking the same thing yet again this All Star break. If you aren't going to spend any money, you might as well just sell off the franchise to somebody or some city that actually would do something productive with it, that would love to have a baseball team, and save every Reds fan the agony of having to put up with yet another losing season.

<---- Says that now, but would be royaly PO'ed if they ever did move the franchise
<---- Not a huge baseball guy (even though I am wearing a Reds baseball cap as I'm typing this)
<---- Huge college basketball and NFL guy.

- Been considering starting a thread like this for quite a while, just had trouble thinking of a title for it. TATWAR. Awesome.

- Ready for this title game to get underway. I'm cautiously optimistic. MSU has THE IZZO and UNC has Huckleberry. Huge advantage there for MSU. MSU kids play for the name on the front of the jersey, and not just to impress the NBA scouts. I admire that. Another advantage for MSU. UNC does have a huge talent advantage, however, and talent matters, especially at this stage.

- About those papers. Yeah. Still haven't started on them. Have no clue what this presentation is going to be about, and really don't care. I'm almost ready to be done with school and just move on. D-O-N-E done.

- Still have no clue what I'm going to do with the rest of my life. Yeah, I've gotta get on that.

- Could never get to sleep after I posted this thread. I layed in my bed from about 8 A.M. until 2:30 P.M.ish. Just tossed around, trying to get to sleep. Don't really remember anything that was going on during that time period. Weird.

- Writing depressive, beyotchy songs with my friend K-Dogg. Not sure why.

- Nice responses so far. Not bad, not bad at all. Keep it up.

- I'll think of something witty and funny to write later on. Not sure what it will be about, but I'm sure you all will like it. Or whatever. I could honestly care less. Ok, I care a little. But not that much.

..Suffering from a disassociative disorder of some sort today. Only about 65% here.

..Pooped twice. Nothing remarkable about either one of them.

..Worried about getting jacked up on an ebay deal. Guy seems shady. He keeps calling me and the tracking number he gave me doesn't work. Hope I don't end up eating $650.

..another day of being Tired, tired, tired and sick.

Is this like Twitter? This is fun.

- Yeah, kinda. Just random conversation. Hoping to get some interesting conversation and interaction going on here to breathe a little life into this forum instead of the same old same old. Maybe it'll work, maybe it won't. I'll give it a chance.

- You can also talk about many different things in one post. Just skip down and add any type of symbol you want to indicate a change of discussion. I prefer the "-" for my posts. Others prefer "$" or "." Just whatever you like, as long as it's free flowing conversation.

- Cool.

Today, I played full court with men half my age. About halfway through the second game, I lost the feeling on my left side; between the buttock and the ribcage - numbness. I finished the fourth and last game with a sweet no look, reverse lay-up. Swish.

First time I was able to play that much full this year. My hip feels like someone is continuously beating it with a hammer, my feet are killing me and I wouldn't be ashamed to cry actual tears right now, my hamstring hurts so bad.

Almost ready for summer.

- No pain, no gain.

Hope you start feeling better, gent. Geez, that sounds pretty rough.

- I'm not the athletic type (even though I'm trying to get there) and this isn't a sports injury, but I slipped in the shower last weekend and it feels like I may have done some cartlidge damage to my knee. Also have a pulled muscle in my foot that acts up every now and then. Leg and knee injuries are no joke.

- How often had you typically played up until this year? Those pick up games can get pretty intense. I watched my dad and some of his friends from work play some pick up games after work one day last summer. This is a bunch of 40-50 something men playing in like 80-90 degree weather, playing 3 or 4 intense games for about an hour. My pops works out (unlike me) at a gym 3 times a week, so he's in pretty good shape for a 49 year old dude. I was surprised none of them collapsed right there on the court.

Lol, my bad Tayway. I meant you should become a writer like Darrell Bird and Matt May for the Catspause paper. I know you are on the Catspause board. I did register a year ago but I never go there for some reason.

- I would absolutely LOVE to do something like that eventually. Bird and May do a great job. I never really thought about writing (preferably online) until recently, but it actually makes sense. A job where I could work from home and on my own time would be great. For now, it's just a dream...

- You need to. I'll look out for ya.

- My cousin and I were just talking on Facebook about my potential future careers and overall anxiety that I'm having. Funny stuff. He called our hometown, and I quote, "A rotten sore." Tell us how you really feel. I don't know if I would go that far. Sure, people there are overly crazy about religion, at least IMO, but there's a low crime rate and it's a good place to raise a family. Trust me, those two things become a lot more important the older that you get. Sure, there aren't a lot of career opportunities unless you are self-employed or like flipping burgers, but it's not the worst place to live. Of course, I think everyone feels the way that my cousin does about their hometown when they're young and never experienced living anywhere else. I know I did. Now that I've been away for a little over a semester and a half, it doesn't seem so bad. Although, to be fair, my cousin is a lot more out going and talkative than I am (yes, Tayalltheway is shy, don't tell everyone, it might ruin my rep.), so he probably needs to live in a big city, where as a person like myself values safety and comfort. To each their own, I suppose.
