Did we really give him a good enough look?

In the preseason he seems to be displaying more talent/skills and playing better than any of the draft picks we kept. For a rookie, he seems to "want the ball" and he has a nice stroke.

When you trade a guy for a future 2nd round pick and cash it seems to say that you don't think that he can help you team at all production wise.

Yeah I would much rather have him, over Deron Washington. But whatever, apparently Joe knows something we don't. He still hasn't shown that much (although his summer league was awfully impressive too).

There was a similar topic over at realgm, and someone brought up the point that in that same game Dajuan Blair put up 16 and 19 in like 20 minutes. I'm more disappointed about that.

Anthony Morrow in Golden State has also been lighting it up. Offensively this kid appears to have the total package. He looks better than Curry, Ellis and Azubuike and he's only due to make 700k this season. Joe D should keep him on the radar, I believe he's an unrestricted f/a at end of season.

Did this turn into the 'random young player' discussion?

I'd rather have the theme "recent GM blunders" if they pan out. Morrow was undrafted, he also went for 30 last night vs phx shooting almost 50% from the field and 50% from the 3pt stripe.
