WTF we lost to Minnesota without Al Jefferson. I have'nt heard of any of those guys we got smashed by tonite. We look like a lottery team. I'm disgusted at the way we are playing and now I know why the shock left. Detroit is on a downward spiral. We need some serious help. Stuckey Rip and Charlie Vilaneuva are the only ones to do anything. Btw Tayshaun Prince sucks big time. My big toe is hurt!!!

TV reporter: Is this a common training method? I mean, do other fighters pound raw meat?
Rocky: No, I think I invented it.

It's gonna be feast or famine for this team this year. Expect a lot more of this.
The exact reason most have us missing the playoffs this year.
Nothing is written in stone, with the trade deadline still in front of us.... but don't expect too much until that time.

Yeah, this defense has definitely been shot for some reason. It's only pre-season, but these last few games have been pathetic.

To quote Whet Gas Reloaded, "Less rappin' and mo slappin'." But on a serious note, the Pistons are really starting to tank on D, which is really disheartening after how well they started the preseason. I guess if that means Ben Wallace needs to start then Ben Wallace needs to start. What's really surprising is that most of the players seem to buy into the defensive philosophy, they just don't execute. Stuckey, Wallace, Villanueva, Bynum, Gordon and Hamilton have all been quoted saying how they need to do a better job on D, yet none of them seem willing to actually do the task (as is evident by our recent losing streak). Once again for good measure: "Less rappin' and mo slappin'."

Agaist Milwaukee, they got called for 36 fouls. Two players fouled out, and two others had five. No one on Milwaukee had more than four.
If you're in foul trouble, or you know the refs are calling it close, there is a tendency to lighten up on defense, and not go for steals and blocks.

Hopefully, the regular refs will be back soon, and the players will re-learn what they can or can't get away with.

This is going to be an interesting season to say the least. The more I think about the Gordon signing the less it makes sense. Afflalo was the heir apparent at the two with a defensive mentality and work ethic to boot. Gordon is more dynamic but similar to AI, which was a disaster. RIP at the 3? Again this year? Right now we're a franchise chasing our own tail. Charlie V. looks good and needs to start. Put Big Ben at the 5. Tay has always been mediocre. If we're gonna lose lets lose big and get a good pick. Drafting 15 every year is purgatory. I will watching as many games as I can, but I feel like we are going to be worse this year.

A moves have to be made, one for a point guard and a Center in order to salvage this season before it starts. or else the pistons are going to have to tank.

Either way IMO Rip and Prince are goners by the trade deadline.

If you don't understand and can't bear through a rebuilding and transition period, then you're in for a really tough, long season. Even next year might not be that much better. A lot of fans want to see the Pistons do well and are going to be frustrated and impatient, but it generally does take some time to get to where they want to go, especially with a new coach, new system, and all the new pieces.

But, also realize this. The success of the previous 6-7 years prior to last season made Pistons fans spoiled. It brought in bandwagon fans who didn't appreciate the winning.

The tough times and the bad teams and the rough years make the successful seasons all the sweeter. Laker fan doesn't know how good he has it. Even Spurs fans have become spoiled. When you realize how hard it is to get to the level of success of being a consistent elite team, then you appreciate it more when your team gets there. When you've gone through a decade full of lottery seasons and bad moves by the front office, you revel in it when they finally can reach a certain point.

Not that I want or expect years and years of bad Pistons basketball. But, having to endure a couple seasons of below average to possibly lottery seasons after watching for 6-7 years of really great success is something that I'm not going pout like a baby about. I'll still criticize the team, moves I thought were wrong, individual players, coaches. But, I will also understand why the team isn't that good this year and why hopefully it will get better in years to come.

If you're already tired of it before the regular season even starts, might as well pack it up, and start looking forward to the NFL draft!

Loose = opposite of Tight.
Lose = opposite of Win.

I'm not trying to pick on the OP, I just see this error all over the place on the internet and I don't get it.

Perhaps the OP was trying to be emphatic, indicated by all the exclamation points, like saying "looooooose," but only chose to use one extra "o."

Also, after you finish your sentence, you should end it with a period (.), not a comma (,). Otherwise, it's a run-on sentence. You can use a comma if you add a conjunction like "but."

"I'm not trying to pick on the OP. I just see this error all over the place on the internet, and I don't get it."

or

"I'm not trying to pick on the OP, but I just see this error all over the place on the internet, and I don't get it."
