Hey Pistons fans, Check out reporter Terry Pluto's article in the Cleveland Plain Dealer newspaper on yesterday. If this doesn't fuel the Pistons nothing will.

Maybe as a player it might possibly fire me up. But as a fan, I don't see anything in there that wasn't true.

The Cavs should be very confident.

That may fire up the pistons if they see it, but its not about thinking that you have it, its having it.

Right now we are gonna see a team do like Ric Flair. Get in the ring to wrestle the current superstar, give a couple of slaps in the chest to the opponent. Then do a couple of whooooosss!!! Then when you think hes about to upset and win, he will go to the turnbuckles, climb all the way up to the third rope to deliver the big blow... and then... thats when the match gets ugly for him.

I expect Detroit to give a good show Saturday, tease all of us for 3 quarters making us think that they are gonna win, and at the end they will fall.

Of course I would be extremely grateful, happy, excited, and get all the positive feelings at once, IF they actually shock the cavs on either games one or two.

That would a wrestlemania type of moment for the pistons, but @ the Q arena, its like facing the Undertaker in wrestlemania.

By the way, do you think Vince McMahon and Stern are similar?

Nothing surprising to what he said.

Anyway, I think what we're going through happens to most teams.

Good teams change. Just on a different pace and it varies on how they climb back up.

Look at the Sacramento Kings. Before, with Webber, Peja, Bibby, etc., they were a good team with a shot at a title but losing players, even from the bench, change how the team performs.

The Lakers had some sort of rebuilding too and getting Gasol and other key players in the bench, they are where they are now.

Really don't see anything wrong with that article either. It is what it is. All the dude did was state facts about us and said what everyone else is saying, the cavs will win the series.

Now we can all just only pray that what everyone is saying is wrong........

Cleveland can talk all the smack they want, they were the best team in the regular season.

Doesn't necesarrily mean it's going to translate into post season success but until someone knocks them off they're the team to beat.

Props to the cavs this year, i hope we beat you but you guys have a hell of a team.

Lol basically every Piston fan accepting reality. Of course, Cleveland should be confident. Their players, coaches, the whole city should be. And, I see no problem with them talking smack. If the roles were reversed, it would be the same thing for the Pistons and Piston fans. Like everyone else said, I don't see the big deal.

I love the Pistons, will still root for them against all odds. But, I think many if not most of us have come to grips with the situation and what will likely happen. If some miracle happens, it will feel that much better because it won't be expected at all.

i hope this is how the cav's look at it...they did one hell of job in the regular season. With that begin said it doesn't mean that they will have the same success, however with the way the pistons have been playing of late it may be a short series. im still pulling for detroit and i'm hoping that sheed and the boys have 1 last run in them cuz if they some how some way win this series a trip to the finals could be in there future....its going to be interesting and it starts saturday...a game 1 win would be absolutely huge....get it done boys

bring bramos home!!!!!!

Nothing has happened yet, as far as the post season goes. Cleveland fans can talk all the **** they want, they are afterall the top team right now and they SHOULD be feeling confident. All we can do is hope the Pistons surprise everyone with a major upset.

Probable? No.
Possible? Definitely.

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but that is the opinion of one sports writer. I didn't see any quotes from Cavs players in that article.

Something tells me that the Cavs do not take the Pistons as worthy opponents and may lose a game or two because of it. However, there's no indication of that in the article.

Articles havn't been motivation for the Pistons in 4 or 5 years. Last time a player's comments actually fired up a Piston squad was against T-Mac in 'the second round'...
