We drafted 3 SFs, I know Joe D is looking to trade him while he has serious value, even ESPN is speculating that Tay is on the trading block, question is where is he going, I say probably Portland, they really wanted him and they didn't end up getting Turkoglu.

Jerekbo plays solid enough defense and rebounds well enough, and Daye shoots the ball well enough, added to the fact that Rip can play SF, I hate to say it but I wish we would have pulled the trigger when Utah offered Tay for Boozer...

Oh I think they like me, better yet I know, lights camera action when I walk through the door...

i'd rather trade for somebody we can use. the 2010 free agents bigs are crap once u get past stoudemire and bosh. i doubt bosh is leaving, and i doubt stoudemire is opting out. we're gonna get owned if we dont land one of them. and even worse if the cap drops. we would have basically donated prince

2 ways this could go:
Trade Tay and Max= Salary Dump, get expiring contracts (neither is worth a good player anyways)

Trade Tay and Stuckey= Improve team now. Start Bynum, BG, Rip, CV and Big Ben, you will get a better player offering Stuckey as he still has value, might even get someone to start, but I doubt it. I thing Daye and Jerebko can play storng min off the bench and im ok with PG by commitee with BG and Chucky working those min out.

If Tayshaun isn't gone by now, after Joe turned down him for a legitimate low post scorer who also provides us cap relief at the end of the year, he's NEVER leaving. That block on Reggie Miller sealed his fate as a Piston.

So could a person tell the diff. Well, yes I'd say - Turk does score pts. Tay has always been overrated.
Move him down the road.

I wouldn't mind seeing Boozer come in at this point so CV could come off the bench.

How about Tay and Max for AK-47?

Eh, none of this matters anymore. I just don't want him around.

Tay has fluke moments of usefulness in big games so I doubt he's going anywhere.

I've never liked his game. Plays too soft for my taste.

Dumars shuts down rumors of Tayshaun Prince trade
By Mark J. Miller

The Detroit Pistons are paying Tayshaun Prince(notes) $10.3 million and team president Joe Dumars has said he would love to unload either that contract or Richard Hamilton's(notes) one for $11.6 million. So when Prince was benched last night as a "precautionary move related to a lower back strain," lots of folks in the arena thought a deal was clearly in the making.

The consensus seemed to be that he would be packaged with forward Jason Maxiell(notes). But Dumars is saying ix-nay. The move was supposedly all about injuries. Dumars is saying that he's sick of new faces in his clubhouse and would like some stability.

But you'd think he'd be very happy to see a big-name free-agent "new face" next summer if he can free up some of that cash.

I would like to say AMEN to MeWizeMagic! I totally agree. It's like in business, you gotta spend some to make more. Maye deal Stuckey and Tay and get Booz and a pick. Maybe that'd be a solid start. But, I'd still like Joe to sit down and talk it out with Rip and see if a trade were to come up, where would he like to go?!?! Rip is from Penn, would he like to a Sixer? Cause Rip and a pick for Louis Williams, Kapono and Speights is a solid move that addresses 3 positions! Or, would he like to be in a state with no State Tax, ie, Fla. Tx, or NY/LA. They all have someone we'd want!

I guess I just think if you're gonna kill it, don't be a slow painfull death, snap the neck and let's start over!

Truthful, I believe Dumars is targeting a trade ( would involve Prince) with the Clippers trade for Kaman. Dumars mentioned he shut down rumors around this, however sources are starting to leak out.

I'll give you this. A rotation of Kaman, Wallace, cv and Brown with Hamilton, Jarebko and Daye makes for a powerful front court. I'd pay to see kaman, wallace and jarebko on the floor. Talk about tough.

I'd rather trade with GS Prince for A. Biedrins instead of Kaman. Tougher center and a double double machine!

Why would GS do that. They have enough SF. They don't need Prince.
