I will miss Sheed & Dice next season. Celtics are talking to them both. They would be nice to bring off the bench.

Keep Rip & Tay? I am still not sure about this one. Those guys worked well in the system they "were" in. Last year, they all mailed it in. Rip played a great stretch of games when he was put back into the starting line up. The he just tanked. Sheed played a few good games last season. Again the core is no more. I am tired of people saying they can't find replacements.

Furthermore, Joe can't draft! His strength is trading. He has the ability to clean up his mistakes by trading. You guys talk MLE or free agent signings, very hard to do so you cannot compare Detroit to LA. This city is not a tourist destination so you have to pay to play here.

If Detroit was one player away, it's a different conversation. Right now, they are rebuilding and they do not have a coach. The next logical move will be a sign and trade of some sort in addition to filling up the roster if the cap money is nearly gone. We do not know the full details on the money spent on Gordon and Charlie V. I'm sure there are more moves involved, so stay tuned.

Brighter side: Derone Washington is on the roster Smiler Maybe that is Rip or Tay's replacement. LOLOLOL

Washington is strictly backup at SG/SF. He's a slasher, but doesn't shoot that well from outside, or from the free throw stripe. But, he can run, and plays with energy. Oh, and he's not a very good ball handler either.

If we trade Rip, we will have BG and Rodney Stuckey. Won't hurt as much as you think. We need an above average center. Thats it

Some of ya'll are f'n delusional. Look, I think and it seems to be a popular opinion on ESPN radio as well, Joe canned Curry because he couldn't get along with Rip. I think that shows that Joe is committed to Rip and less to Tay. For the record, Rip is a 6-7 perimeter player that will run the opposition ragged and he can slide over to the 3. HE doesn't have as much length as Tay, but who does... Rip can play the 3, it'd be best if he had a guy like Summers that can play 20-25 minutes off the bench, that allows Rip to slide back over to the 2 for spurts while BG sitts or while he and Stuck swap out the PG roles.... Tay is an easier logistical fix, rather than the duh, deal Rip and slide in BG.... boring and less productive....

If one of em needs to go, it's gonna be Rip.

1) the guy wants to be the leader on this team, but he doesn't hold the skills to do it. I remember some guys on here claimed him to be a 1st tier guy; he isn't. He's a compliment player that's easy to replace. Tay, is a glue player who is good at everything. Harder to find.

2) Like someone else said, we got no legit starting 3.

3) A player's peak is between 28-31. Tay's in between there. I think all he needs is a true backup to give him some rest, so he can play. The guy's burnt out. I say give him one last year to prove himself.
