wow! i have to make yet another move the ball thread, this really like my 6th or more of this, since this board existed. Ill keep it short for once though...

We lose because we don't move the ball, we win when we move the ball. it's been that way since 03, luckily for a majority of the time we had success with it. Then we go into this 1 on 1 garbage, which cap'n 1 on 1 iverson. Clearly showed us all just plain sucks, ISN'T FUN TO WATCH!! an gets you nothing but **** L's!!!

We won last night and they didn't move the ball. 9 assists on 27 FG's is not good ball movement. All there was was a lot of dribbling and driving. No dishing.

I think you have the wrong message board, all I see is Stuckey hate.

Since Stuckey has been out with those early fouls we've been getting killed, we need him bad, maybe when he comes back second half we can turn this thing around, but as of now it looks like we are definitely going to lose.

Yea, Stuckey is a "bad" point guard but we seem to be at our worst when he's out?

Is that because Bynum is also a bad point guard?

I personally like the dribble driving better because he have been ending up at the free throw line much more often than normal.

I agree if they are getting to the line. But, I also think this will soon. One, Rip will be back and two, other teams will start packing in the lane once they figure out we have no outside shooters. Ball movement creates easy baskets and easier driving opportunities.

Well once they start packing the lane, that will creat open shooters on the wing which would allow jumpers or easier ball movement.

I still don't think we have the shooters to take advantage of that. Nor the williing passers.

Well I'm just speaking from a fundamental point of view and how it's supposed to work.

In reality we only have 2 options, move the ball from side to side or dribble drive.

And I would rather see us move the ball from side to side with the team that we have.

and what I was saying is dribble driving is working for us. So we should continue to do that until they pack the lane, then we can move the ball like you want. Win win.
