he's can still be a valuable asset to the team if coached properly. Curry was just an idiot. Maybe Avery can straighten him out. Plus, im sure he wants to stay in detroit. especially now that he's seen an improvement on our roster. he'll be the center we need! or maybe not. i really don't know what to expect from sheed. but last season, curry's coaching should be attributed to some of his (sheed) slacking and probably the whole team too.

Question:
Should we Pistons pursue Sheed?

Choices:
NO!
Yes

I voted No, I am the biggest Sheed fan but it will be better for the team and the Pistons overall to let him go.

i would hate to see him go to boston or san antonio but that's where he's most likely headed. that sucks. but hey, atleast we're guaransheed to lose 3/4 of our technicals.

I voted no, but I'm sure Sheed will start trying again and play out of his mind for the Celts or Spurs.

i say yes only if he wants to be here, heart & soul.

If he does not bring it on game nights, He can play limited minutes for all I care.

+1

I'm a huge Sheed guy too, but his time with the Pistons has passed. Best for both sides to move on. Even if he goes to Boston or Cleveland, I'll still be a Rasheed fan. I know some of you hate the guy and his antics, but I really like the guy as a player and as a personality.

I voted no.
Sheed's one of my favorite players in the league, but it's just time to move on. Time to usher in a new era of Pistons basketball.

I'm also on the love sheed, but it's time to move on bandwagon.

This team needs to move on.

Sheed seemed a step slow to be a PF last season. Maybe two steps. But he still played good low post defense.

I think he could play center, and, if he started, that would give us a lot of scoring from all five positions, or off the bench, he could give us scoring.

I'd like to have Sheed back, or McDyess. plus a young center. At their age, they should be signed for one year at a time.

I think you guys are forgetting what Sheed can do to the opposing teams defense. He is still valuable plus he can create mismatches most of the time. Is there anyone out there right now who can replace Sheed? You pistons fans need to think clearly and carefully because without Sheed this team is going nowhere. Sheed just needs someone to play along side him. Pistons need Sheed period point blank. Theres just not that many bigs out there.

Greg Oden says he is interested in the Detroit Pistons.

Chris Childs, I've been waiting for your return. Lol, you Knicks blew it in the NBA draft, as always.

Yup, and now I have restored faith in the pistons once again. Ben Gordon will single handely make this team title contenders.

I would say it's time to trade away Afflalo for Meeks.

Yes, IF we can't get McDyess back AND Sheed would be willing to come off the bench. Sheeds defense is why we abused the Majic in recent years including playoffs. He would be a good bench player since he would get more rest and we could use his 3s.

Yes, Affalo is nothing to rave about. He can easily be replaced. Plus I think the pistons can something great for Bynum or Stuckey.

Yes! For goodness sake, we've got ZERO depth at center! We're not in a position to just let a serviceable 7ftr walk out the door for nothing.

Plus the fact that you keep him away from the Magic/Cavs/Celtics is another great reason to resign Sheed.

Of course, it would be luxury to have Sheed come back. Unfortunately, like AI, Sheeds looking to be "paid" and to have a chance at another 'ship.' My only wish is that he elects to play for San Antonio or some Western Conference team instead of the self-appointed brahmins of Boston and the long-standing rivals of the Pistons.

If its Sheed or Nothing, I'd take Sheed. We need help. I do thing there may be other options via trade that might come to pass. I also think Sheed is out of our price range and will play for a top contender next year.
