Both RIP and Tay have done the same thing this season.

Who is they?

You didn't provide a source or enough information for this topic. You just said he's the first person to score 1,000 points in a season for us since Allan Houston and Grant Hill which is obviously false.

The 1990 season was 20 season ago...

These Piston draft picks have scored over 1,000 points in a season during the past 20 seasons.

Isiah Thomas (90, 92, 93)
Joe Dumars (90, 91, 92, 93, 94, 95, 97)
Grant Hill (95, 96, 97, 98, 99, 00)
Allan Houston (95, 96)
Lindsey Hunter (97, 00)
Tayshaun Prince (05, 06, 07, 08, 09)
Rodney Stuckey (09)

Only Grant Hill scored 1000+ points in his rookie season during these past 20 (Isiah did it previous to 20 years ago).

James Edwards, Mark Aguirre, Orlando Woolridge, Terry Mills, Otis Thorpe, Bison Dele, Jerry Stackhouse, Christian Laettner, Cliff Robinson, Corliss Williamson, Richard Hamilton, Chauncey Billups, and Rasheed Wallace have scored over 1000 points in a season for the Pistons. These players, however, were not drafted by Detroit.

This information was compiled from the 2009 Pistons Media Guide. Not sure what you're trying to say, Juan.

Quit riding the guys jock. Use your brains, ya'll.

He's saying that Stuckey is the first Piston draft pick to score 1,000 points in his first season as a starter since, Grant Hill in 94-95 and Allan Houston in '95-96.

Scoring a 1,000 points as a starter in a vast majority of the games (and playing period in practically every one) isn't all that impressive.
