I thought this already last year, or rather that Stuckey is just not that good and a defensive liability.

Bynum is not a better player than Stuckey. Bynum is a major ball dominator who isolates one part of the court and puts all of his teammates to sleep. It's sickening, he's just playing for a new contract at this point.

Possibly the same idea, but I figure it was fire in the belly. Defense is a prime example of something that is weighed by effort and desire. To be a good defender, or at least not be a human pylon, all you have to do is put the effort forth.

bynum is better off the bench, cause...

his size

his more dynamic game changing ability which is obviously better suited off the bench

he can't create as much for him self with the starters out there

Bynum is definitely playing better, but not sure he's the better player. But he also presents similar problems as Stuckey does as he does not do a good job of keeping his teammates involved. Bynum is a bit of a blackhole with the ball. It works out ok off the bench, but with the starters, it could be a problem. That said, Stuckey better raise his level of play or Bynum will take more and more of his minutes.

All you homers are crazy!
Just because Stuck's Frame is bigger doesn't mean he's better. Just like Dajuan Summers, yea he's big but he doesn't have game.

Have any of you seen the last 35 piston games?
Stuckey has 4 assist in 4 games? Terrible for your starting point!

Stuckey is a joke. I have never seen a player get so much without earning it. And keep it without outplaying anyone.

I bet if Bynum continues to outplay stuck like the last 35-40 piston games he wwill be starting soon

We need 1 starting guard with 3pt range period.

"All" these homers?

Almost everyone in this thread ackowledged that Bynum is playing better or is the better player. And I don't see people really arguing about Stuckey's bigger frame. And Bynum is not a three point threat.

Your post is all kinds of inaccurate.

Stuckey is starting right now with Ben, and Kwame who aren't the portraits of offense, Tay is playing horrible and only shooting like 22%, the only guy that Stuckey has to pass to right now is Rip, I think when CV31 gets in the starting rotation they will have more offensive options and you will see Stuckey's assist total go up, plus he is only playing like 25 minutes a game right now.

Yeah Jam, most members are just homers or just "Joe Jock" riders. Joe has does wonders for this organization but, he's had his share of F'ups as well, not saying Stuckey is but.....Bynum us better Razzer

excuses. none of that stuff has stopped bynum from single handily dominating games. he's easily been our best player. having him sit on the bench and wait for stuckey to stop sucking at his job is dumb.

this isnt about 1 game. or even this particular preseason. i made a thread about a year ago asking the board if bynum was at least as good as stuckey. long before he was in the rotation...long before he set that record. the question is no longer open.

the only edge that stuckey seems to have on him is being big and wearing the same number as wade. it's like nobody wants to come to terms with the fact that some d-league guy is showing up their d-wade fantasy. i like both players, but bynum has clearly outplayed this guy ever since he consistently got the opportunity. he's a better finisher, better ballhandler, his jumper looks better, he's a better defender and he runs the offense better. meanwhile, i'd be thrilled if stuckey could just make his layups consistently...

Have you seen the last four Piston games? Stuckey hasn't been playing point very much. He has been at the Shooting Guard AND Small Forward spot.

Will Bynum is a nice scorer off the bench, but I would rather have Stuckey at the starting spot.

When Stuckey is in the game, He is trying to get teammates good shots.

Bynum comes in with the intention to score the ball.

If Stuckey came into a game with the score score mindset, he would score at a higher rate than Bynum. But Stuckey is trying to run a team, but hes young and still learning it. Bynum isnt trying to play the role of a typical point guard. hes just scoring.
