Please don't use the excuse that CV isn't integrated into the system yet because of his injury and missing time. This guy is nothing compared to our old pal Sheed. Sheed is 10x better on O and 100x better on D. CV plays no freaking D and would rather foul the opposing player in the post then try to D up. You could tell by his body language this guy easily loses motivation when his shot is not falling. I thought CV was a nice slashing face-up PF? He's attempting just as many 3's Sheed use to but isn't making crap! Maybe he should tweet his *** on outta here. What a waste of $30 million.

Your an idiot if you think CV is 100% out there, especially if you know his game. The kid has no lift right now, there's a reason he's failed on about at least 3 ally attempts in the last two games....he just doesn't have the lift. That's a result of that hamstring still not being 100% and his conditioning not being there either.

He's a face up guy, common sense would tell you since he hasn't attempted to do that much that his injury is definitely bothering him. If you ain't got the quickness and athleticism yet, the most you can do is shoot the ball. Defensively he can't move either, he's trying to stay in front but just can't. Once he gets back to 100% he'll be fine. Also doesn't help that he has no point guard on the floor to create for him but that's another story.

I know about the injury. I guess you could say my rant was in the heat of the moment. I never liked CV and never will. There's a reason the Bucks let go of him so easily and even traded for Amir of all people to replace him (which later led to Hakim Warrick). Wannabe Sheed.

There's also an reason all those teams gave up on Chauncey Billups too. I could go through rosters and find guy after guy who's been given up on by a team in this league, its nothing new. Hell, there's a reason the Bulls gave up on Ben Gordon as well without any fight. CV willl be fine, people just need to give it time.

I know right? He has serious talent and people are judging his career off of 3 games. This are probably the same guys who sad Billups and Rip would never be anything after they played a bad game the first weeek of their Pistons careers.

I also find it hilarious that the people who dogged Sheed all last year are now prasing him to the best. You guys are constantly walking backward.

If you guys wanted to go from bad to champions in 1 year, then go watch the Celtics. You have no buisness here.

People here are so fake....

Some of you fans make me sick. I don't even wanna here about it. 99% of the people on here last year whined and complained all season about Rasheed. Don't start talking about missing him now. A lot of you got your wish by him leaving detroit. CV has played horrible your right he really has. But also if it wasn't for him last night the pistons would of got blown out. He really stepped it up in the 4th quarter.

slam jam thank you mam

Villanueva will be fine. He just needs to stay out of foul trouble. But, the guards have to get the ball to him inside. They're taking way too many shots. Piston guards took 46 (of 71)shots vs. 30 shots (of 78) for the Buck's guards.

Well at least he got hot last night before Q took him out. But face it, the guy's never gonna be much of a defender, especially in the post. He doesn't have the size to bang with the big men and not enough quicks to stay with the good Small forwards. The only defense he has is to outscore his match up.

I couldn't agree more!
Stuckey and Bymun are out of control with the amount and quality of shots they're taking. CV's gonna be ok and despite what his body language may have read to the OP he never quit. Sheed quit the entirety of last year. This is also the first time he'll be held accountable for what he does on the defensive side of the ball so give him some time to adjust to what it means to ACTUALLY play some defense. Trust me Big Ben will get him inline.
But I gotta say I hated that finishing lineup the other night. That was pretty absurd. I thought CV should have been in there. It actually makes me think that he must be still hurting.

they seem to be substituting Bynum for Villanueva at the end of games.

Against the Thunder, they finished with Bynum Gordon, Stuckey, Maxiell and Wilcox. The game was out of hand, and I know they want to go small at times, but that's a pretty small lineup.

I can't stand him because he has shown little heart and intensity. Not to mention is really poor defense. It's amazing that someone like Ben Wallace who has half the gifts can out play you. He needs to pick up his level of play.

we need some kinda big man coach to come in and work this guy to death. unless he has a wide open three or layup/dunk, he looks just as confused on offense as he does on defense.

He doesnt lack intensity or heart. Hes always looked the same way since he was a kid when playing. The feel of the game comes easy to him, he doesnt lack any heart or intensity.

Does the fact that he went 12 and 6 agaisnt the Bucks, with 50% shooting from the floor, and 40% from 3 maybe mean that he is getting back into his groove?

CV has been irritating me that's for sure, first of all kwame flat out earned a starting job, then charlie v comes in an takes it with out earning it. Ir's AI all over again, but at a lesser extent. Just because we just signed the guy doesn't mean we have to play him.

An i will say a big reason we lost the lead to the bucks, was cause they went into all out attack charlie mode, cause well his former teammates knew it, his defense sucks. Sure he started draining shots later on, yet the damage was done earlier, if he played D in the first place, we would have never been in the position we were in, during a comback, after we already put this team away! Flash backs of the curry days, which we all know we don't need here. An it's not the coaches fault ALSO this time around. It's the players layin back, which we never did till we won a ship, so this sense of entitlement has to go, cause until they earn a ring, they all aint shi. Only 3 guys on our squad are big men on campus, cause they simply are through HARD WORK, PAYING DUES, AN EARNING IT!

When you're on a more talented team many facets of your game will look better even if they aren't:
first 3 gms Sheed 9.3 pts, 3.7 rbds, .7 blks .346 fg%, .35 3pt%

3 gms CV 9 pts, 4 rbds, 1 blk, .37 fg%, .333 3pt%

Looks like we've got about the same superstar at this point...
