If I hear "STRAIGHT UP", called out again by Rasheed, and some guy strolls to the rim for a dunk or layup, I'm gonna lose it! BRING BACK THE ZONE!

Early on, MC said players must earn minutes by playing solid defense. Then, AI arrives and gets tons of minutes without any defense. What does that do for MC's credability.

Team defense must be played by five players, not four. AI, at 5'11" should be guarding the opposing PG, but since he won't, Stuckey had to be added to the lineup. That leaves somebody unguarded, and forces others to play out of position with the "small ball" lineup.

AI needs to be removed from the starting rotation and replaced with either Amir or Kwame, depending on matchups. AI should come off the bench, and play against reserves, and in "crunch time" when the Pistons need another scorer, not at the start.

How can you give 40+ minutes to someone who doesn't play defense and expect to win?

take away the last 2 minutes from the thunder and Bulls game and they have played solid (or better) defense for 2-3 weeks maybe.

The Pistons haven't played hardcore defense since the 2004-2005 season.

They were the best defensive team in NBA HISTORY in 03-04, stat wise.

84 pppa, lowest in shot clock era

held 11 teams under 70 points, including 6 in a row (nba record)

and holding NJ to 56 points in the semifinals was amazing.

Big Ben, Corliss, Elden, the pitbulls, dunkin darvin, the human victory cigar, Frowner oh the memories
