Ben looked good tonight. I know he wants to play and can still play, but I'm kinda surprised that he was out there for 29 minutes last night. Once the game got out of hand, he would have been one of the first guys I pulled. Wilcox only played like 7 minutes, so to take 4-5 from Ben and give the Wilcox in a blow out game wouldn't have been that big a deal.

Maybe I am wrong though. Kuester makes a heck of a lot more money to coach the Pistons than I do!!

You can laugh hardest at me. I thought it was a horrible signing and was completely against bringing him back. So far, he's shown he has enough mobility and agility left, fresh enough legs, and can still impact a game in a positive way. I'll definitely eat crow for how I felt. Even being way early in the season, I didn't think he'd be able to contribute like this at any point in the season. So, good for him and good for the Pistons if he's able to continue to play at a high level and stay relatively healthy.

I don't mind being wrong on this one. I just hope it continues all season long.

I didn't like the move back then. I still don't like it now. To me, it was never about how good Ben is at basketball. It's the principle. Starting Ben undercuts the main purpose of this past offseason.

I don't know...to me, the main purpose of this past offseason was to assemble a team that has the best chance of winning. Ben Wallace gives us the best chance. As much as I like Kwame, I feel much more comfortable with Ben starting.

Hopefully he can keep it up for 82 games and the playoffs, but I hear Kuester is going to rest him for games periodically.

As I admitted, I was a critic and detractor of the Big Ben pick-up. But, I must say that I'm looking forward to hearing Mason scream and high pitch... "from VirGINIA UNION University..."

So much is mental attitude. I don't think he liked playing in Cleveland or Chicago..realized he had made a big mistake and now that he is home, he seems much more relaxed and happy. No matter what work you do in life if you are not enjoying it you won't do well. He seems to fit that.

He is looking a lot like the old Ben Wallace. Glad he is doing so well.

The old Ben Wallace isn't back as yet! Wallace will get frustrated after a couple more losses. Then we will once again, see him on one of local news channel "complaining" that some of these bigs needs to step it up, when he is giving 100% efforts busting his tail on the court, they should too!

Then will know, Ben is back!

If Ben Wallice aquisition makes it so a rookie doesn't play as much it means that the rookie isn't ready. Even if Ben plays well, Kwame and Maxiel could loose thier jobs to Rookies. Talent wise it seems we are one player deep and his name is Charlie V. If Ben makes it 2 players deep than great! That still means there is room for other talentless scrubs to loose thier jobs.

Big Ben is holding it down! I am glad he's back, but if we don't get Rip back soon we are going to be in trouble. The schedule for November is going to be very tough.
