"The Pistons' coaching staff has preached more self-control and restraint this season, but the message isn't taking hold. Pistons players have been whistled for technicals in eight consecutive games. Coach Michael Curry said after Monday's practice he's addressed the issue. "Some of it is the makeup of the guys we have and it's part of who they are," said Curry, pointing out that Richard Hamilton, Rasheed Wallace and Allen Iverson have been emotional players throughout their careers. "But we want to make sure it's not interfering with what we're trying to do as a team. A couple of times, we've let interfere with that, and we've talked about that.""

isn't it crazy?

I've honestly never seen anything like that at the NBA level. I would hate to think the guy is really that slow.....he's gotta have some kind of intelligence to be able to convince Joe D of his value. It definitely doesn't translate when you watch him speak to the media or address his players in game. I just can't help but laugh. He reminds me of Ladanian Tomlinson when he talks. Have you ever seen that guy interviewed? Heck of a nice guy it seems like, and obviously an unreal athlete, but wow, that guy isn't the brightest in the world.

You probably shouldn't call out someone's intelligence with spelling like that.

Doesn't this just prove that Curry was right from the other conversation we had about Officiating Here.

Or you will just figure out a way to spin it that Curry did not stick up for the refs and told his team to stop whining, BUT he probably said it in a stupid way, because that's just how bad of a coach he is.

The guy can and never will do anything right for you guys. Curry was right in this situation, even if he has made coaching decisions you don't like, that doesn't make him wrong in this particular situation.

Agreed with JROLLA. Honestly there's nothing Curry can do you please you idiots. Even if we win a game, you say "OMG, DID YOU HEAR HOW STUPID CURRY SOUNDED IN THAT TIMEOUT. LULZ". I can't imagine how much you must hate the guy when the dominating thing you point out about him is the way he speaks, like it's something he can prevent.

Curry is considered very intelligent. He was head of the players union at one point and they don't put idiots in charge of that. Funny thing is he is more successful then anyone on this broad will ever be yet these "smart" people question his intelligence. Most of you probably haven't even graduated high school. Pathetic.

I would like to add something. Do any of you remember how Bo Jackson talked? If you based his intelligence on that he would be as dumb as a rock. Your parents need to give you a good slap.

Curry may be an intelligent guy (I do not doubt that) but he does not sound like it. People have a right to state their opinion if they so choose (this is the place for that) without the team of resident prostate massagers always trying to belittle them. This is America my friend and delivery is just as important as content (in terms of speech and writing ability), at times even more so.

How about you guy’s just stick to what you do best and stick to your player worshiping ways (Stuckey is God, Prince have my baby, that sort of thing).

How much has that trait benefited you thus far in your life (I wonder)?

-------

Curry needs to take a speech class, he sounds like a fool in interviews. He sounds like a player giving an interview instead of sounding like a coach providing insight.

-------

P.S. I can make a rather impressive list of buffoons that are more successful then most of us will ever be.

I say let the other bench coaches earn the T's! Most of them are just holding clipboards anyway! Heck, if this was durring Larry Brown, Phil the Front Runner Jackson, or Isiah's time, there would be 99,000 coaches in suits sitting behind the bench. Use them to go after the zebras, draw the techs, and take some pressure off the players! I see Curry has been TRYING to get one on him, but none of the bucketheads have taken the bait yet!

yea an i think he was dumb for tryin to get that tech, if ur refering to the one when curry was flippin out cuz it coulda been a goaltend or basket interference i forgot, but we were up 10! no need to flip out over a petty thing like that at that time, curry is all about provin points, the thing is that wasnt the time to do it, hes lucky they didnt T him up, an they shoulda ejected his arse for bein a fool in that instance, i jus think it gives a bad message to the players, especially for there standards they were shuttin up
