seriously, at what point do you just say "i'm gonna stop shooting?"

He did stop shooting. He missed his first three shots in the third quarter and stopped shooting for the next 4 minutes he played in the third quarter. He took a couple bad shots in the fourth, but he can't just stand out there being a non-threat.

Sure, he shot poorly, but he did start the game shooting his jumper well so he had confidence in it early on before he started missing.

I was more concerned about his and Ben Gordon's defense on Brandon Jennings in the third quarter. I don't mind players taking shots and having confidence in taking shots. I have a problem with allowing a rookie kid to score 16 points in a quarter without so much as a hard foul or adjusting to the pick-and-roll defense so he can't get relatively open looks.
