I like the 3 guard rotation of stuck, bynum and gordon.. They may be small but they come to play... I would take that money of Tmac's and go after a player of 2 this off season.. I don't see this club going to the finals or at least making to ecf... This is another yr of building towards that.. Yet they can put themselves in a good spot with some more cap space to get a good if not great player next yr...

Bosh or Boozer will be a piston before the yr is over..

I would want to do it for their first rounder tbh. It will be a lottery pick and we need one to get a superstar.

McGrady makes $22,483,124 this season. How's that going to work?

Yeah Maxiell would have to be part of the trade to work salary-wise. Prince, Rip & Max for TMac, Battier and a 1st would work.

I wouldn't do it. TMac is gonna miss 25-30 games to start the season. That's putting too many eggs in next years FA basket anyways.Prince and Rip should be able to attract a bigger fish than TMac by the deadline.Just wait until Toronto and Phoenix go in the tank, as well as some other cash-strapped teams.

Can we just wait to see how the first couple months unfold(at least TMac MIGHT be playing by then).

McGrady is done. No effin way, it'd be worse than the Iverson trade.

Will someone please help me to understand the obsession with McGrady!! Why would you guy's want "Broke Back"? He hasn't played a full season in 4 or 5 years...do you guy's really have that much faith in Kander?

McGrady is just a big, expiring contract. Only teams interested in creating cap space next year will want McGrady. With the cap coming down and with raises built into current contracts, it wouldn't provide the Pistons with enough cap space to go after any of the top free agents.

It's also pointless to trade for another SG that will demand more minutes and shots. If the Pistons have to make a move envolving Rip and or Prince. It should be for an "elite" Big man.

Then you move stuckey to the 2. BG and Bynum can share some time at the 1 until they find a full time Back up or Starter PG.

with the addition of an "elite" big man The Pistons have enough Bigs to trade 4 a young PG from a team with gluts at the PG who could use front court hlep. Teams like T'Wolves, Wizards, and Warriors ect...

I don't want the expiring contract when the salary cap is expected to drop to as low as $50 Million. I rather get Joe Johnson for Rip/Tay & Max and be over the cap than have McGrady and be slightly under the cap when the cap drops.

McGrady is a stud in the 2k series of video games. I think that's honestly the obsession.

I wouldn't swap Rip for Joe Johnson straight-up let alone throw in a draft pick.
