With these hard economic times, it's getting hard for the more richer suburban fans to show up at the Palace. And it didn't help that it's the day before Thanksgiving, we're in financial depression, and the Big 3 and this area's exsistance hangs on by a pinky toe nail! BUT THE DETROIT PISTONS NEED TO PLAY IN DETROIT!

Very soon, the Michigan State Spartans will come down to Ford Field, and play a game against North Carolina, and tickets are low as $9 bucks. But even the green and white can find their way into the 313 and play on the soil of Detroit. My question to you is, WHY CAN'T THE DETROIT PISTONS PLAY IN DETROIT FOR AT LEAST ONE OR TWO GAMES A SEASON? WHY NOT? These are strange times, and they need to bring it to their fans! Those empty purple seats in the upper bowl, may have been filled if that game tonight was in Joe Louis. But even if they could come down in downtown, you have deal with the Illitch-Davidson Cold War between the arenas.

All I want for my people, my area, my hanging on barely city, is to at least see two DETROIT PISTON home games a year! Even the Washington Wizzards still go back and play in Baltimore every now in then!

Now let's say they do chose to play a game at the Joe. Let the Wings trade arenas that night, and play up in Auburn hills. Have a coat or food drive that night, and raise money for the soap kitchens! If they would play in Ford Field, which does not have a proffessional team, they could donate all the funds from the crowds attendence, once it got past the totals from the usual Palace crowd. And again, they could have food or clothing drives for the people who need it, or toward other charities.

Do you know where that money is going for MSU vs UNC game? It's going to the schools, the Lions, and the ncaa pockets!

PISTONS YOU HAVE TO PLAY IN DETROIT, and help out your community next year when they really might need it the most!

Ford Field I could live with, the Joe is an out house compared to the Palace. Don't really see any point in playing at Ford Field though. There are 2000 empty seats at every home game. You're not going to fill FF with a Pistons game.

You could always do a food drive at the Palace (which I'm pretty sure they've done before). I kinda wich they had built the new FF right next to the Silverdome actually.

There home is at the Palace. Davidson and Illitch really aint on good terms last time I heard.

The Spartans are playing at Ford Field becouse they want a warm up game before the Final Four, and Michigan cant even fill up Chrysler Arena.

Nope. They should always play in Auburn Hills.
