I find it funny that everything Pistons fans wanted since the pass Flip Era backfired on them in one year. I think Joe D listen to fans this year and it back fired on him. Piston Fans Wanted Flip Fired hes gone Piston Fans wanted guys who can drive to the basket Then people wanted a Super Star that backfired. Even if the Pistons went after Elton Brand or T-Mac (Remember them threads last summer) Things would of still Back fire. The Pistons are a System team that was never made for a Super Star. Play the Young Guys? All the Pistons young guys were expose this year. Amir can't play, Max is a bum, Stuckey is not a PG and he can't play D. You are right the Pistons are a "Drive First Shoot later" team now. Why because the only shooter on this team if Rip. AI,Stuckey and Bynum are slashers not shooters. Welcome to the Cruse of the 2004 Draft. Things would of been a lot better if Joe D never drafted Darko. I blame Joe D for this MADNESS for listing to a spoiled piston fans. How many times on these forums people crying after every piston lost even when they won 64 games a few years ago. The Teal Era is coming back get ready. |

That type of strategy worked... a win, and plenty more to come if EVERYONE CONTINUES TO DRIVE FIRST, SHOOT JUMPERS LATER AFTER EVRYONE HAS FOUND THEIR RYTHYM SHOOTING FREE THROWS AND GETTING LAYUPS FOR EASY POINTS!! I agree, which means it's time for a change of system. Also, playing the young guys exposed a lot of bad apples, but I would like to be optimistic and think that Bynum and Kwame proved that they are worth SOMETHING rather than nothing. |

Precisely, Kwame has demonstrated enough talent to warrant much more playing time and I have liked will from the first time I saw him play because he has quick hands and knows how to use them to make point guards’ and fwds fear his stealing capabilities..But let’s not lose focus of the purpose of this post in the first place; last night’s game proves that when every player has a drive first shoot later mentality we can beat any team out there. I hate the fact that everyone is counting the pistons out b4 the 1st game is even played ?...I know they can beat Cleveland, they just have to get that inside game going, once thats established then go from there.We start Kwame and go inside to him to start, that'll throw cleveland off. Strategy is Key.
