Detroit is filled up at the guard and SF positions and trading RIP or TAY for BOSH or a good center in the league like Camby, Chandler, etc. I don't see Kwame getting 20/10 and giving us a chance to win a playoff round. Ben Gordon is a GREAT shooter who MIGHT learn defence in Detroit as well as CV.

DET PISTONS LINEUP:
PG- Stuckey
SG- Ben Gordon
SF- Austin Daye/ DaJaun Summers
PF- Charlie V.
C- Chris Bosh, Chandler, Camby, etc.

Then maybe Willl Bynum and Stuckey could switch guard positions n play together in the rotation as they are known to be scorers.

That is not even close to a Championship lineup.

We need to stick with what we have. Sure, our front court is thin, but we have a lot of overall depth.

The Raptors are going to lose Bosh anyway next year so it would make sense for the Raptors to trade him off for a player or two. Ben Gordon wants to be in the starting lineup and how is that going to work out with Rip being here? I would be willing to trade Rip and someone else not including Tay for Bosh. We can not have two rookies at the SF position....that's a no no.

Uhhh, no & no! We need to maintain some continuity on this team. Trading away the last remnants of our veteran corp while they're still some yrs of mileage on them, not to mention the experience is pivotal and would make us totally unbalanced. We can't afford to lose that length with Tay & RIP as a 2 guard. To go from that to a very small lineup would get us killed defensively most nights. Length is huge and one of the reasons Orlando was in the finals. Having Tayshaun's length & experience is critical to the transition for the younger guys. We can't go with a youht movement overnight. Having guys that can play while bringing the youngsters along is the correct rebuilding process. We do need at minimum one more banger inside to take out the trash and do the dirty work. Personally I like Chris Wilcox. Wish we had enough $$ to get in one the Gortat sweepstakes but feel someone who can give us a presence on the box is enough to take the attention off the perimeter guys every now & then. but that's why having Gordon & Ville are huge. We were stagnant alot last year when no one outside of RIp or Sheed was scoring or capable depending on which lineup was one the floor. Amir wasn't going to get it done offensively unless in the transition and Maxiel was and is too inconsistent. We need consistency and Charlie & Ben can give us some of that. That takes alot off RIP & Tay(whose not going to carry you anyway).

Thanks Bynum Power I'm in a rotten mood and I'm itching to fuss at someone!

AJG you even give rookies a bad name. lol I'll list the problems and see how many I get to before I get carpal tunnel!

1. A full roster has 15 players on it. 12 active and you listed 8!
2. The word defense is spelled with an "S" not a "C"! This is not the 1700's
3. You have no depth at PG, SG or PF.
4. Why would you want Camby? He's beyond his good productive years even though he can still rebound.
5. Speaking of Centers, how do you propose to get 3 in our lineup as you have listed there? I'm not saying its a good idea but still its your lineup not mine!
6. You say maybe Bynum and Stuckey can play together in the rotation. By your lineup they have no flippin choice because they dont have backups! DUH! According to you looks like they'd be playin the full 48.
7. You spelled DaJuan wrong.

I think the only thing you were right about was that Kwame won't give us 20/10.

I should get promoted for this. lol Here endeth the lesson.

Defense is spelled with a "c" in Great Britain.

Which was the origin of the American settlers before the American Revolution in the late 1700's. lol I was just cutting it short.

My point was that it's still spelled with a "c" in Great Britain today. So if AJG lives there, it's possible that he/she is spelling it the correct way for where they live.

Haha.
Alright, I didn't see that. You have a point.

But he still could have been educated there.
Or maybe he just wants to make Ben Gordon and his family feel welcome in Detroit. Big Grin

Tay, Max, AA, & Sharpe for Bosh. Have a good season and try to resign Bosh in 2010.
