I've always felt (in the past few years where this has been the case) if you are not above .500 - you're out. i know this isn't going to happen but it'd be nice if there was some kind of rule that made it that way.

yea cuz that would make sense...get over it...it happens in ever sport...look at football the pats didnt make the playoffs its part of the game. its not the pistons fault they play in a weaker confrence. Get over it the pistons are in and they arent going to change the rule

It's all about conference. We play a lot of different teams more times. While people will say the West is better, the bottom of the west is much worse than what he east has and a lot of West teams wins are give aways.
