With A.I. gone, and with most of the PRESTIGE we once had in this league obviously non-existent now, all that's left in this forum are the genuine piston fans.

I mean, which one of you cannot go through a whole day without keying in PISTONS.COM on their browsers?

I'm guilty of that. I just can't help it.

Although I won't be shocked if halfway through the season, when we've surpassed every expectation of every NBA "EXPERT" who's doubted the team, band wagoners will be back. But in the meantime, i'm kinda liking the fact that this board is almost band wagoner free.

everyone wants us to lose but it doesn't look like we're headed in that direction.

I cannot go one day without going to PISTONS.COM and browsing through the forum. I'm a 22 year old college student who has a diehard passion for my Detroit Pistons. I categorize myself as a hardcore Detroit sports fan; I love the Tigers, the Red Wings, and of course the Lions. We're right in the middle of the NFL season, and my football fantasy teams are on my mind every single day. But what is my homepage? Just guess. No matter what grief I get from my roommates about being a Pistons slappy... I'm here forever. I love my Pistons, and my passion will never die... through the good and the bad.

Not that I don't agree with you. But you have posted 200 times in the last 2 and a half years. It's not a competition but I have trouble believing that you key in pistons.com into your browser every day.

Not trying to be a jerk or anything, but I have to come to his defense. I've only posted like 40 or so total posts. But I believe that I've been on here everyday since I joined. Sometimes I look at messages and read that someone said what I would want to say. I don't feel it's a necessary to post on it. That's just my two cents. Seriously wasn't trying to be rude, or step on your toes, or anything.

Its true, many of us are silent observers. I choose not to post if I feel I will not bring anything to the discussion.

This board needs more talk of Fennis Dembo

Real Piston fan checking in. I don't post a lot because a lot of threads here are nonsense.

Very excited for this season. No we're not contenders but we will surprise some of the doubters.

Going to opening night 2nite!!!!

I didn't mean to open a can of worms about people not posting a lot and having to prove themselves... my bad.

I'm also a longtime Piston fan and message board reader. I don't post a lot because I really just like reading the posts and seeing what other people have to say about the team. I think there a lot of people like me that read the boards almost every day but don't post anything. Just because we don't have a lot of posts doesn't mean we aren't real fans. I personally can't ever think of anything to say in a post so I just don't post anything! lol.

I still love reading the message boards and I am a HUGE Pistons fan!

No not at all. Don't worry. My comment was kind of rude, it's really not about the amount of posts I guess. It's really the only way of determining how often someone visits this forum, but it's not all that important.

I know you guys are fans.

Count me in as a true fan. I am excited about this roster and this season. So far so good. Let the band wagoners go watch the Cavs or Rasheed and the Celtics if they don't think this team is worth it. I visit the forum only periodically and don't post much as you can tell from my rookie status but I am very excited this year.

I'm a die hard fan too! Only 16 here. I don't post much on this board anymore because there's no use. This board is truly filled with idiots with no knowledge what so ever. No offense to anyone! I browse the forum everyday though.

Same here... I watch every game and check the boards almost every day, yet rarely post... the only reason I don't check them EVERY day is because of the lack of intelligence and abundance of crap on here... especially during the off season when the boards are full of trade ideas that are never going to happen. There's some good people on here that know what they are talking about, but those people are still outnumbered by the idiots.
