From the way this sounds it does not sound good at all. Sometimes a sprain can be worse then a broken bone, and it sounds like Rip has a pretty bad sprain. It's to bad this guy just can't stay healthy the last couple years. He's listed as questionable for Friday, but I don't think he will play for a while especially if the guy can't even walk.

I guess we know that minutes for Bynum will not be an issue in the near future.

Too bad for Rip hopfully he will get well soon. I was wondering, if bad karma was what bit Rip in the arsh. He had been making statements on what was in the past,my feeling is he should of let the past be the past.

this thread is painfully moronic. no where in that article does it say that rip cant walk nor is there anything there to suggest that his injury is serious.

Gotta agree here......people need to calm down a bit.
This is not Grant Hills foot for pete's sake....It's an ankle sprain

From a poster at another forum.

quote:
At a speaking engagement I attended last night, Joe Dumars said it looked like Rip would be out for 2-3 games.

Not two weeks...
