Is Wilcox hurt or sick? Jerebko is getting the call before him? This all seems puzzling to me. I thought he would at least get a chance before he got yanked for a rookie.

I have no idea, its really starting to annoy me though. Maxiell is out there stinking it up big time, there has to be some type of reason Wilcox isn't getting time, especially with the way he played during preseason.

Jerebko was in for Prince at SF. But, I think Wilcox should play. Maxiell is awful, especially when teamed with Brown. The Pistons need to get more scoring out of their bigs.

Against the Bucks, the three guards (Stuckey/Bynum/Gordon) took 46 of their 71 shots. The guards need to pass inside to bigs who can catch and score easy baskets. The Bucks guards took 29 shots.

Stuckey had 8 assists, the most he's had this season, but he also took 19 shots. That's a lot of shots for a PG. He needs to pass more, and stop going under the backboard and flipping the ball up. His penetration only got him one free throw, and a lot of bad shots.

pass to the bigs!!! lol, thats funny cause those guys suck on the offense side of the ball, thats the reason the guards have to shoot so much and teams understand this, thats one of the reason the Pistons struggle after half-time, other teams make the proper adjustments, knowing to play the guards for the drive and clog the land, like i said until this team gets a bonifide low-post treat this will just repeat its self

Yea, I though he play ok in preseason too. I hope he can get together, the dud is 6’10 and very athletic. The Piston's have tough road ahead.

Being a point guard doesn't mean you can't shoot, especially in today's game where there's so many scoring point guards. I have no problem with Suckey taking 19 shots if they were smart shots, he made them, and was efficient. Problem is, he did none of the three....

He got in Coach Q's doghouse rather quickly in game one against Memphis when they scored a couple very easy buckets inside. He got the hook and didn't play again until the game was decided. Seemed like he didn't really play last night either. At some point, if Maxiell continues to be underwhelming, you have to give Wilcox minutes because he has the ability to score. But, when Wilcox plays, he has to show better defense or he won't get many chances.

Whatever psych games coach K is playing with Wilcox is hurting the team. Pistons have terrible low post play on both ends. Wilcox is the only Big who has the potential to score in bunches on the block. He needs to play 30 minutes a night.

30 mpg is a bit extreme especially considering how bad he looks on defense a lot of times. But it definitely should be more than just garbage minutes or a couple minutes here and there. I think 12-18 mpg is more realistic playing time for Wilcox.

Which guard would pass up a shot and get the ball in to him?

Granted PT should be based on minutes earned. That said, he's the type of player who performs much better the longer he's out on the floor. I haven't had a chance to view a single game this season so I can't speak to his defensive lapses.

Outside of Villanueva, we have no offense from the frontline. Wilcox is our 2nd best scoring big man and hes extremely active around the basket.

We gave up a quality player in Affalo for only a pick so we could afford to sign him. We gave him a fairly nice contract at 2ys/6milion. That, and the fact he has something we need, I cant believe we dont play him. I just cant figure it.

It all depends on the match up. I'd only let him on the floor if he could guard an offensively challenged player. Wilcox can get you 15 but gives up 20. It's the reason he's had a hard time catching on with other teams.

The Pistons need to play Wilcox if only to break up that Brown/Maxiell combo off the bench. Those two both play down low, both are slow. and both are turnover prone.

Opponents don't have to worry about them on offense, and can double up on perimeter shooters. They need to break them up and play either Maxiell/Wilcox or Wilcox/Brown.

I def. dont want to see Max out there, I have never been high on the guy. I would much rather see a Wilcox/Kwame tandem on the second unit. I am not saying play Wilcox 30 mpg, but 12-18 would be ideal. At the same time, he needs to step it up on D.

I'm loving the fact that Ben Wallace is grabbing 10 boards in 38 minutes but offensively he is very weak minded. He's horrible at free throws and cant shoot worth a sh**!! We are playing him for his defense? Well right now this team is very short while Rip is injured Chris Wilcox needs some playing time at either the 4 or 5. He has to be out there for some other scoring options. It's not all about Stuckey taking 19 freaking shots in one game especially when he only makes 6. Give me a break. And do us a Favor Put in Chris Wilcox for about 20 minutes a game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think a lot of us agree that we'd like to see Chris Wilcox in there for some minutes, at least in favor of Jason Maxiell. Hopefully, Coach Q will at least give him another chance especially when the offense is struggling.

However, I will say this. We don't know what's going on behind the scenes in the lockerroom and during practices. Perhaps Wilcox simply isn't earning playing time right now. I just hope that the scoring ineptitude of the front court trumps that and Wilcox does get some chances to prove he deserves those chances.
