It's been announced by Doc Rivers today, that Kevin Garnett will probably miss the entire playoffs. If we had played a Garnett-less Boston team, and Orlando in the first and second rounds, we could have probably made it to the ECF's again. How funny would that have been? People would hate us even more than they do.

The Celtics minus Garnett are still easily better than the Pistons minus Chauncey. We weren't going to beat them.

Well... to be honest... that means that we are fighting for a trip to the finals in the FIRST round (where anything can happen).

I like that a lot. I know it could mean an early exit...

But if we take Cleveland out now before we get too exhausted, I give us a shot to beat Boston and Orlando and then move on to the Lakers who we seem to match up with alright.

Call me crazy (and yes, I am crazy), but a miracle first round makes this a season to be remembered.

Hoping for the best... preparing emotionally for a first round exit.

I believe the Pistons are lucky to even be in the playoffs. At this point, I wouldn't be confident playing Philly in the first round. What a year. Never would have guessed in October we'd end up a few games under .500.

this really upsets me.... just DISGUSTING that they let that game against Chicago slip away and will be paying the consequences. It's no guarantee we would have beat Boston but with no KG i'm confident it would at least have been a very long and competitive series.

Pistons would have lost to the Celtics anyway, particularly with KG out. Pistons would have gotten over confident expecting to win with KG out. Boston probably would have swept.

They have a better chance against the Cavs (not that they have a chance) because they know they're not supposed to win. Hopefully, that makes them focused from tip. Still a close to impossible feat. But, let's hope they still bring their best effort.

Totally agree, I was so ****ed that Chicago won. Going through the Celtics would have been a better avenue than the Cavs, who seem to be firing on all cylinders. KG is a big part of their success. I don't see how the pistons can get over confident, especially with the way the season has played out.

Right now its hard to even say we have a chance. They have to take game 1 at Cleveland to have a chance.

Let's face it, going through this transition year, we're lucky we're not a lottery team.

We have not played worthy of a playoff spot.
How many games have we blown in the 4th quarter this year?

I love this team till the day i die, i bleed red white and blue through and through, but at this point it's unbelievable a team with THIS much talent didn't even finish .500. wow.
