The battle for minutes is between Stuckey and Bynum. Stuckey is the most viable trade chip, after Tay, for a quality big. Neither will be traded unless there's a complete melt down. There's two handfuls of players EVERY contending team would want and Tay is one of thhem---it's wierd so many posters don't get that.

Give Stuckey a break. His confidence is wobbly but we don't know how he's practicing. It's the same as the yakking about Rip and BG. Ever hear of West/Goodrich, Frazier/Monroe/Barnett, Thomas/Dumars/Johnson? The last team stupid enough to tradea promising player cuz of a crowded back court was Dallas. Guess who they traded? Yep--Steve Nash.

Give it a second, stop wetting yourself and enjoy it. This team is going to be fun. If they play correctly what you'll start hearing is that they area rebounder/shotblocker away. Don't you think Dumars knows who's coming out next year and that West will be available if NO falls apart? In the meantime, we're gonna get to see something like a 11 man rotation until the players start to seperate from one another. Another thing...Stuckey's distribution immediately changes when CV plays. Who did you want him to dish to? Kwame? Ben? They'll talk to Stuck and BG about turnovers today.

Yep...my bad....but you know what I mean. The other thing I like about this team are the personalities. You know Rip is running BG around the gym. You know Wallace is knocking Jerebko down. You know Bynum is doing some playground legend in practice--I saw him eat Acie Law's *** at an Atlanta gym three years ago. As good as thhe Piston'swere--they had gotten boring and and seemed bored that includes Chauncey. McDeyess would have been nice with this group tho.

Even with Bynum as a backup pg, I think it's a good situation. He's going to provide a massive spark off the bench, and hopefully that's all year, and not the last 18 games.

I was just thinking it's kind of annoying to have to potentially solid PGs on the same team, but then I had a thought. I would absolutely love right now to have Stuckey as our backup PG and Chauncey still our starter. That's an even crazier scenario than we have right now.

I like the Stuckey-Bynum idea. Hopefully it pans out.

It was the 1st preseason game, Stuckey will be a good PG just chill out he probably isn't even in game shape yet, last year our Vets made him look like crap cause they gave up as soon as Chauncey got traded and Ivo came in and acted like a baby, and it didn't help that our coach would get into arguments with players and acted like a little kid when he didn't get his way, this year our chemistry will be much better and in turn Stuckey will be a whole lot better, then having a starting PG that is 6'5" and 205 lbs will be look pretty good.
