We literally have to sign 1 more player because we need 12 and we only have 11, I think Joe D's gonna sign Gooden

I think Glen Davis looks like a McNugget.

Also, I want no part in that McNugget.

Gooden looks like the best pick out of Wilcox, Nesterovic, Davis, and Wallace, prolly the cheapest to his salary is like 1 mill a year

He won't be signed for 1 million. More like 3 to 4 mill.

Yeah sounds good to me. Not sure why he's still available, the guy played fairly well against us.

A career 12 and 8 should always have a safe roster spot in this league.

I would want to sign both Gooden and Wallace. Wallace could sit on the bench for all I care, I want him to retire here.

He could sit on the bench for all i care also. Big Ben will earn minutes though. Which out of all these scrubs on the market we really can get. Big Ben is BY FAR the best one out there. No one cept us know how to use him, nor APPRECIATE him.

Drew Gooden at 27 is definitely beter than Ben he scores more and gets more boards he played off the bench last year and averaged 12 and 8 that is alot more than Ben can contribute stop lying to yourself, Ben is done with in the NBA his body can't do what it once could.

^yes.

Must have missed that part adambiss. Must have also missed the part in which I said I would prefer to have both (which is extremely possible, and we would still have salary left over).

No biggie.

The way it was said was, he can ride the bench for all i care, but ben can get minutes though, I guess you need to learn how word your answers better, and Ben as I said would just take up minutes, he should get like 3 mins a game if we pick him up

I don't care what someone else said, that's what I said. Perhaps you need to hone up on your reading skills.

Either way, he could get minutes on this team. Who's going to stop him? Kwame Brown?

You all act as if he's 40 years old. I'll be the first to admit, he's not at all what he use to be.

I wouldn't want more then 10-15 minutes from him.

Gooden, much like Davis, Brandon Bass, and every other low ball big man we have set our eyes on are Power Forwards. Ben Wallace is a center. To be frank, we're ok at the 4 spot in terms of depth (unless trades are made, I have no issue with improving the 4).

Our focus should be a center, that's why I suggest grabbing both of them. If I had a choice of either, I would take Gooden.

We need a center, but Maxiell will get his minutes as a post defender too, backing up Kwame. With Maxiell and Ben, we'll have two very small centers.

Instead of a free agent, could we somehow combine Maxiell with our cap space in a trade for a full size center? There must be some team with a good backup center that they would exchange for $3 million of cap relief, saving $6 million after tax.

Drew Gooden and Chris Wilcox may be the best available, but there must be some better choices out there somewhere.

Why would "Big Baby" sign an offer sheet for $3.2 million? Another option is to sign the one year qualifying offer that the Celts made to him, and become an unrestricted free agent next year.

And why would the Pistons tie up their cap space for a week when they can be fairly certain Boston would match.

As an UFA, next year, he would probably be able to sign a long-term contract begining at least with the MLE.

CE D.Gooden, K.Brown, B.Wallace
PF C.Villanueva, J.Maxiell
SF Prince, Daye, Summers, Jerebko
SG Hamilton, Gordon, Washington
PG Stuckey, Bynum

Not all that bad of a lineup if we could sign Drew Gooden and Ben Wallace.

I still think there will be some kind of trade involving Hamilton though...

I really can't see Maxiell playing along side any of these centers. Maxiell should be considered a backup center, not a PF.
