1st Our small ball team sucks. People like to blame it on IVO defense but everyones defense is in question to me. SF are walking Rip wherever & Sheed & Tay are being abused as well.

2nd Tay is officially soft as hell! People act like it's not his fault hes stinking it up. A player would at least force a shot once and a while if it was ALL chemistry problems. He just looks like a rookie at times!

3rd Rip is acting like a Female "I need my shots" He not better than IVO and him leading us in scoring hasnt proved lethal enough for the east powers. So fall back! Yea if you ran your whole offense for him to get a look he will make it or miss it just like Kapono would just like Korver would. People act like running off screens is a talent LOL. he has to do that because he cant catch the ball anywhere and he what he wants. Before the flaws in his weak game are totally exposed .....

I hope Joe has one more trade in mind involving Rip or Tay + Maxiell
WE could use another player that just puts pressure on the Defense to check up.

Once Ben left it was over. Ben really was our MVP. The remaining core just cant get it done and thats proven! So we get one of the best players EVER! And we dont wanna defer. Its sad! They act like they been scoring at a high rate for years or something LOL.

We need 1 starting guard with 3pt range period.

1st - it's not AI's fault, it's curry's. He cant seem to get that every single small ball team has NOT won a championship.

2nd - This, I blame on curry as well, making prince a point forward, which really isn't Tay's role.

3rd - the best point of all three. RIP needs to understand that he can't score as much as he once did. It's time for him to step down and acknowledge the fact that AI is the man now. If the Pistons are going to win a championship, AI needs to be AI.

Rest of the paragraph - truth till the last word

I think when B Wallace left he took the the weight room with him...My 2year old has more muscles then Rip and Tay combined...The rest of the NBA just finally figured out how to guard Mr I'm gonna keep running around until i get open and catch and shoot Hamilton. I think Joe D knows this...that's the reason why Rip needs to come off the bench as our 6th...

I don't think AI has the talent to be "the man" on a winning team. If anything Rip is more suited to be our number one option. Nowadays Iversons is a mid range jump shooter. He's lost some of his quickness so he can't to the basket as easily as he used to. When he does go the rim he likes to shy away from contact, pull up and shoot a short fadeaway, which hasn't been very effective . He just doesn't have the athleticism anymore to score with ease. He can score but he's really inefficient; if you let AI jack up shots he's taking the ball away from someone else.

Rip is a more a efficient scorer. He can get his in the flow of the game without having to dominant the ball, everybody else can get theirs while he scores.

We need to get everybody involved not force feed one guy. That doesn't win championships.

God, we have like 20 million threads talking about the samething!

People, give the team some time. Be patient please. Just watch us in the second half of the season. We'll be killin'.

I still think we can win 50 games. Just stay positive. And remember, Cleveland were 4TH last season with 45 wins, and they were so close to beat the Celtics in Boston.

As of now, we better win all of r home games, and make a strong run to get the 3RD seed from Orlando.

Right we can end up in 3rd.There is a chance to be in 2nd that's if Cavs get at least 20 losses and we can be in 2nd place.

I disagree with you, as usual. I don't think AI is faster than Stuckey or maybe even Bynum. I say this because he can't just blow by defenders and get to the basket like he used. He needs to get his man off balance with a crossover in order to get to the basket cleanly.

By the way Iverson is averaging a career low in freethrow attempts, that should tell you something.

Tells me that he has better teammates so he gives up the ball more?

Tells me that he's become a mid range jump shooter...

Roll Eyes You don't think very hard, do you?

Less free throws? OMG HE MUST BE A JUMP SHOOTER NOW BECAUSE THERE ARE NO OTHER POSSIBLE REASONS FOR THIS!!!

Ivo takes it to the hole a ton.

Stats taken from http://www.82games.com/0809/08DET3.HTM

Iverson shot selection:

Jumpshots:71%
Inside/layups/:29%

I rest my case, Allen Iverson is a jumpshooter.

man i hate stats! life isnt a huge math problem like everyone thinks ya know?! jus look at his shots he takes. gradually as each game progresses he's learnin how to pick his spots. much like hot rod in the beginnin of the season. also the teams gelling as each one of these pieces are refined.

must add i dont hate all stats, basically the box score shows the jist of it, but when i see these crazy in depth stats they'll get u slightly on track but more of a head ache imo. any sport its bout chemistry an hunger... hunger more so then anything

Can you tell me what Iverson's numbers were in Philly?

30% of your shots as layups is pretty darn high, especially for a PG/SG. Again, you're an idiot.
