Share them here boys...and ladies. The run has been fun but all things must end. The Bad Boys lost in the 1st round to the Knicks. This will likely be this groups swan song, with the exception of Rip, Prince and Sheed who will all be back.

1. The Rip trade comes to mind. This board was freakin berserk that day. If I'm not mistaken it went down on September 11, and so ****** compared it to the World Trade Center.

2. Game 7 Against Orlando...and pretty much the entire playoff run from 2003-2005. The Palace was beyond description, but that game, you could feel the electricity in the building. I think Chauncey went off for like 42 points or something insane like that.

3. Jon Barry is The Master of The Universe...need I say more.

I remember the 2004 ECFs where almost every game was in the 60s or 70s, such great defense on display from both teams.

The half court bank shot by Chauncey against the Nets in the Eastern Semis, but ended up losing the game.

Ben Wallace blocking Shaq to the ground in the 2006 ECF

Tay going off against the 76ers in the playoffs, basket after basket, I think it was 2002 or 2003.

I miss a team that actually goes to work night in, night out. That hasn't been the case for quite some time though.

Game 7, 2nd round Vs. the nets 2004. I was there and it was a blow out. I have never heard the Palace and louder.

Game 5 Vs the Lakers in teh Finals. I just had a calm about me that day and watching the game. I knew we were going to win and I felt that way the whole series. It was great to see the Pistons win a championship again. Especially for these players. The Darko draft pick really pushed us over the top.

Game 6 Vs. the Spurs in the 2005 finals. What a great game and I have never seen the Pistons more focused. I remember watching Chauncey get interviewed after the game and Rip and Sheed came over to him, gave him a hug and said "one more game and its ours." I truly felt they were going to win game 7 and starting the 4th I though we had won it.

All in all I have loved this journey with this team. All the ups and downs. Watching Tay make some great clutch shots in the playoffs, Ben being a monster, Rip showing his chops and the gauransheeds. I loved that they won a championship and it really should have been two. I wish we could have game 5 againsts the Cavs back in 2007. I loved their hard work attitude and I hated their big head I want to be a superstar attitude.

It will be fun to watch the journey again in this new era.

You guys have most of the playoff games covered so here are some regular season moments.

Loved Melo refusing to go back in against the Pistons in Denver. He just sat there with the towel over his head.

Loved Corliss lighting up the Kings for 22 points in the 4th quarter at a time when the Pistons were trying to prove they could beat the big boys in 2002.

Loved John Barry getting a tech for tying his shoe on national television.

Loved Rip beating Boston with .8 seconds to go on a catch and shoot jumper

Loved Watching the Pitbulls cause repeated 8 second violations with their defense.

Loved watching Ben Block AK-47 for a win at the palace (I think we won 62-61) in one of the worst offensive games I've ever seen.

That blowout win over Boston when we were up by like 64 at one point.

JB's Lay-up that was goal tended by Derrick Coleman in that playoff series vs. the 76ers. I think it was 03. The palace was deafening.

T-Mac saying he was going to enjoy finally getting to the 2nd round of the playoffs when he was with the Magic and they were up 3-0 on the pistons. The stones went on to sweep the rest of the series.

I like that stretch of games where we were holding all opponents under 70 points and held New Jersey to 56 points in a playoff game!!

First distinct great memory was Tayshawn coming off the bench to dominate the Magic, hitting clutch shot after clutch shot and completely holding McGrady in check. Then doing the same against Phily.

Then the block.

Then game 3 of the Pacers series, which I was at, when it finally hit me and the rest of the crowd that we're up 2-1 and are likely going to the Finals! (this game was hilarious because the Pacers only had 30 in the first half and we only had 9 in the 2nd quarter. It epitomized how we could win games without scoring)

Then when we held the Lakers to 68 points to beat them in game 3 of the Finals after the devastating Game 2 loss.

Then of course the celebration after the win. I was at MSU and it was wild!

Winning 2 games against the Spurs to even the series in 2005

Ben's monster block on Shaq

That was awesome. I think it was New Jersey who broke the record by scoring 71, when we were up by like 15, and they were like celebrating the fact they did that. lol.

They even called a timeout to get one last shot off against our backups. lol It was great. Man, our team could play some defense.

Good and bad...

1. Rasheed against New Jersey and the Nets fans getting on him then him pointing up to the scoreboard and putting his finger on his lips shhhhushing them.

2. Dwyane Wade and the Heat going nuts on the Pistons in the 2006 ECF, making seemingly every shot they took. I couldn't believe it.

3. Rasheed's 3/4 shot miracle off a steal against George Karl and the Nuggets after Karl took a time out with something like a second left on the clock just to advance the ball instead of letting his team in bounds the ball and the game would have been over.

4. Game 3 meltdown last year in the ECF against Boston after stealing game 2. So ****ed off at their performance.

5. The first game of either the 2005-06 season or the 2006-07 season against Boston where Rip made the game winning shot at the Garden off of a simple curl play. Despite his flaws, Flip Saunders had some good out-of-bounds plays out of a timeout.

6. The Malice at the Palace.

7. Tayshaun putting a spin move and dunking on LeBron James.

8. Robert Horry's three pointer in game 5 of the 2005 NBA Finals off of the Rasheed defensive lapse.

9. Ben Wallace's block on Nick Collison to make him the all time blocked shot leader in Pistons history.

10. Mark Cuban chanting to the Palace crowd after a Dallas Mavericks win something like "Western Conference" mimicking Mason's "Detroit Basketball" saying. I thought that was funny actually.

11. Four all stars in the 2005-06 ASG.

12. McDyess getting physical with Mark Madsen and Madsen falls to the court, and then KG feigns to defend Madsen by shoving McDyess. McDyess gets ready to throwdown and KG starts to backpedal. Then the broadcast catches McDyess yelling at KG as he gets ejected from the game, calling him a "**ssy!"

13. LeBron James dropping what seemed like 3295 points on the Pistons in game 5 of the 2007 ECF at the Palace. Ridiculous performance by LeBron, particularly in the fourth quarter and overtime.

14. That little annoying shirtless dancing kid in the Palace crowd that always got on the jumbotron and on the broadcast.

15. "Ball Don't Lie."

I think in that game the Pistons set some record with zero field goals in a quarter. All the points were on free throws. Am I remembering that right or did they have one field goal? I thought it was zero field goals.

edit: It was in fact zero field goals for the fourth quarter. 6 points, all free throws.

Go to the fourth quarter play by play: Play by play boxscore

Probably my favorite all time "Sheed" moment and top 5, all time, clutch shots.

Before Dice leaves the game, I hope we get to see him on the same floor as KG so he can kick his ***.

13. LeBron James dropping what seemed like 3295 points on the Pistons in game 5 of the 2007 ECF at the Palace. Ridiculous performance by LeBron, particularly in the fourth quarter and overtime.

The memory of this game is a heartbreaker and what will live on forever is the shot of Tay standing under LeBron cowering like a little girl.

14. That little annoying shirtless dancing kid in the Palace crowd that always got on the jumbotron and on the broadcast.

That kid is the ugliest kid allowed in the Palace. He should be charged a "scary ugly surcharge"!

15. "Ball Don't Lie."

On Sheed's tombstone and should be on a big gold plaque, hung on front of the Palace. I don't feel like I've watched a Pistons game unless I get to hear Sheed say it once.

Those were great along with the Billups half-court shot against the Nets to send the game to overtime.

When we kick *** in the 2004 playoffs. We stombed all over the glitz of LA. So much swagger, stiffling defense.

The numbers prove it, the 2004 Pistons were the best defensive team in NBA History.

84ppga (lowest in shot clock era)

11 teams under 70pts (record)

6 straight under 70 (record)

We held NJ to 56 points in round 2!

Remember that that team my whole life.

man all good stuff......I can't wait to have that same feeling again with this team in the future.
