I did look at that last night and if that happened I believe the Pistons would have the tie breaker. I'm not sure how they do it. I believe they start by the season series, which would be tied at 2. Then, I think it's the division record, which would be both 8-8 for both teams. The Pistons have the better conference record..so I say they have the tie breaker. IF that happens. I'm not thinking it will though.

yah i was checkin it too, n i got some nba fancy thing that they made.
(1) Division leader wins tie from team not leading a division
(2) Head-to-head won-lost percentage
(3) Division won-lost percentage
(4) Conference won-lost percentage
(5) W-L Percentage vs. Playoff teams, own conference
(6) W-L Percentage vs. Playoff teams, other conference
(7) Net Points, all games

last year everyone said we had a better chance facing the celts. this yr everyone think the same thing....

If Philly loses the next 2 against Boston and Cleveland(a good bet), the Bulls and Pistons will leap-frog them into the 6th and 7th spots.

If they end up tie we own tie breaker with a better record against division rivals. Cleveland beated the crap out of boston, Philly is their next game, so I expect Boston to redeem themselves against philly. Then the sixers need to go to cleveland to try and hand the Cavaliers their second home loss.

Bottom line is, we need to win the final two games.

Philly just lost to Toronto tonight, they're falling fast. Cleveland is going to want to play them in the 1st round rather than us, so I guarentee they will be looking for a win. We need this Chicago and Miami game.

Man, this season went by fast. These could be the last two regular season games we see Rasheed or Mcdyess in a Piston uniform. It's kind of sad. Hopefully Joe will make this offseason a successful one and we will be back on the map!

my exact thoughts, thinkin about flyin in just to catch at least 1 home playoff game. I think Joe will resign both sheed and dice (borrowing the two of them make a few contract changes) i think sheed will have a dynamite playoffs and help lead the pistons to another nba championship.

If we win our last 2 games, and Philly loses their last 2 (against Cleveland and Boston) then we get the 6th seed and Orlando. It is very possible but we HAVE to win. I have a feeling we will find a way to screw it up though and end up in 8th.
