Hey guys was just looking at the releases for Team Total Wins during the regular season and it looks like the Pistons are expected to finish at about .500 with the listed number at 40.5 wins...

I personally see this going OVER and expect them to them win between 44-48 games this season.. I like our depth in the backcourt but lack of an offensive post presence is a concern of mine... So i'm curious to hear everyone elses prediction

Some of the ECF teams has gotten a tab better. However, the Pistons have become a tab better also. With the Pistons replacing Michael Curry, the signing Charlie Villanueva to replace Rasheed Wallace, they have gotten younger at the PF position including the back PF.

Record of 50 - 32.

They will definitely be an above .500 team. It's hard to analyze the 'stuns after that horrific showing in Dallas, but I think that was a fluke game and we won't have to witness that often at all. Our offense is looking really solid. Rip is being Rip, Ben Gordon is being productive off the bench, Will Bynum is stepping into a significantly bigger scoring role, and all of our bigs can score (with the exception being Big Ben, but even he is still capable of put-dunks and bunny shots). What's more exciting is that the defense that EVERYONE in the media was harping on is actually looking fairly impressive (again, not taking that Dallas game into account). I'll say the Pistons win 52.

Its too early to tell. I hope chemistry and team play happens soon. Right now, I think they will win less than last year and will not make the plyoffs.

45-49 wins. They will be over .500, but I'm not sure they can get to 50.

If this team keeps having move turnovers than assist. 40 games will be a stretch. I smell trades on the rise.

I believe there will be a trade or two this season. That should be factored in to the guess of how many wins.

Constructed as is, I don't see any way they win 50, but that would be great. I think they're somewhere in the 36-44 range. I'll say 40 wins even.

I would love to be optomistic, like many of you, I just don't see how this team will be any good.

We may be the worst defensive team in the league. Stucky, Hamilton, Gordon, and Villneaueva are terrible defenders, and Tay is overrated. Speaking of Tay, how does he fit in with this team? He shoulda been traded 2 years ago We are still a jump shooting team, with 4 SG's and no PG"S. Who is gonna rebound?

Maybe I'm being to negative, I hope so, but if I'm being honest, this team is bad. No D, no rebounding, no pg, and no low post players equal the lottery. We are a crapier version of the Golden St.Warriors.

27-55
