why we don't need Tayshaun or Rip. I would bet my life the Pistons would had lost that game had Prince played. They guy is lifeless. Get em both out of here

The game last night proved very little. If Tay and/or Rip should be traded, it's not because of last night.

Who's to blame for all of these idiotic topics? Is it Detroit's school system?

you're out of your mind if you think that performance last night was impressive. im glad we won, but that game was simply a battle of who sucked the least

we shot 37% as a team. that definitely sounds like reason enough to ship out our two most efficient scorers Roll Eyes

aside from the fact that ben wallace is good at denying howard position, that game proved nothing

It's as if there was no common sense at all used in the decision making process here. Why on earth would you think that 1 game, 1 out of 82, would be the difference in whether we trade RIP and Tay or not?

Orlando is Dwight Howard and Rashard Lewis. Neither of which played much (Rashard didn't play at all).

Stupid topic.

The only thing it proved is that the team is improving do to their team chemistry developing a little more, too bad Tay and Rip are out but luckily not for too long so the team can continue to develop, seems like CV31 is getting more comfortable each game.

Speaking of which, how lucky are we that Ben Wallace is playing like he still belongs out there. I know he is no offensive threat, but for his price he probably has more value than just about anyone in the league. Albeit he makes less than $1 million.

But on the subject at hand. I think last night proved how much we DO need Rip back. Tay, I could do without. But I think getting rid of Rip this season would come back to haunt us. He, Gordon, and Stuckey look to be a formidable line up.

We got a long way to go but there is potential on this team Big Grin

The only thing that last night proved was that Orlando CAN play a bad game. Nothing more....

Last night didn't prove much for the Pistons. Except Team chemistry, and we are working to improve defensively. I can bet that the next game in Orlando will be tough. Orlando played like garbage. Not to mention that Rashard Lewis wasn't there and neither was Mikeal Pietrus Both proven scorers. And D Howard played little but with great defense from Ben Wallace. We def need more production from Vilaneuva. He needs 16 a night. But I give them their props for finally working hard to pull out the W. 2 AND 2 on the Season. I'm glad we didn't go 1 and 3. Toronto tonite lets go defense.

Last night only proved we have the ability to throw five players out on the court who are willing to try on defense. That hasn't happened in 2.5 years.

I thought Maxiell had his best game.

Other than that it shows that when you get Orlando's bigs in foul trouble, and their 3pt shooters have an off night, the Pistons can win.

Only nine turnovers. That's good. Only eight assists. Not good. They still need to get the SF and bigs more involved.

The difference in this game was at the charity stripe where Detroit outscored Orlando 31-12. These refs blew their whistles and sent the Pistons to the line when they tried to score inside. With other refs, those drives may have led to Piston turnovers.

Haha, our offense was terrible all night really and we only won because Orlando didn't hit shots and Howard was in foul trouble the entire night. But yeah guys, we won one games without them and we don't need them, no matter how horrible our offense looked last night. Besides Gordon and then Bynum at the end, the offense wasn't pretty at all.

We need Rip, not that bum Prince. And haha I agree Maxiell had his best game of the season last night...I loved what he brought to the table.

Rip will help solve the offense problems. Tayshaun not so much. Tay is pretty much a waste a space to me now.
