Dude, I'm sure you already know the answer to this question. It sounds like you are just trying to get everybody riled up.

Probably has to do with the fact we are 3-0 against them this year and Sheed and Kwame seem to have the ability to limit Howard. Nuetralize Howard and you have a very mortal team.

Maxiell said he has developed a trick to help him slow down and focus at the line. "It's all mental, it's always been mental," he said. "I just say 'Happy Gilmore' and try to go to my happy place. I think of my happy place, picture my girl and shoot."

We need to play well against a team like Orlando before we have enough confidence to have a outside chance of beating Clevland or Boston. It wouldn't be good to face clevland or Boston in the first round.

I;d rather face Boston than Clevland since they are less hungry and may underestimate the Pistons.

I don't think we can bet them in a 7 game series. They will figure us out this year.

Their best chance is against Orlando. They won't beat either Cleveland or Boston.

The key to beating Orlando is strond defense against Dwight Howard. He's their only post presence. Last year, they double teamed Howard and played soft defense on Mo Evans, who took only a few shots from the perimeter. They still no real threat at SG. Also, Prince did a good job on Turkoglu, and RIP defended Rashard Lewis well on the perimeter.

If they can stop Howard from scoring and rebounding, the Magic will need to the Pistons with perimeter shooting.

Because the Magic are pretenders. How do you explain losing a home game to the Knicks they desperately needed to win?
Plus Dwight Howard doesn't get the "superstar" calls that Lebron and DWade get. If I didn't know better, I'd think they tanked a game so they could lock up the #3 and avoid us.

Their strength is chucking the long ball, and with AI out of the lineup I like this Pistons team to shut down Orlando's open perimeter looks. We own the TRAGIC..psychologically it's going to be a hurdle for them-- year in and year out we kill these guys, and no exception this season 3-0.

Honestly, I think Sheed is the key against Orlando. His defense is great against D12, and he exploits them on offense too.

Not exactly. The Pistons don't necessarily have to shut down the Magic three point attempts. Yeah, it would be easier to beat them but it was proven last year that it doesn't matter. The Magic had I believe close to 50 three pointers made to the Pistons 25 and they still beat them in 5 without Billups.

As for this year, I'm still confident that the Pistons could beat Orlando. However, since Orlando lost to the Knicks last night they won't get the 2 seed so even if the Pistons finish with the 7th, it will be Boston.

I was thinking of this last night. Orlando purposely losing just to avoid the 2 seed so they know for a fact they wouldn't have to face the Pistons. Well, they did...against the Knicks.

Finally, I would rather face Boston in the 1st round than the Cavs. I am thinking it's the Cavs year to get to the finals and play the Lakers. Ha, yeah it would be hilarious if Denver ended up winning the west. Since Ginobli is out there goes the Spurs chances, which I had coming out of the West til that happened. So, I say it's between Lakers/Nuggets. Anyway, lets hope the Pistons shock the world again.

You could've a least put everything in CAPITALS.

Are we the same team that swept them this year?

Hedo went down last night and R.Lewis sat with an injury.

Sheed is in Howard's head.

Their whole team hates playing for the "Hedgehog".

J.J. Redick got hurt last night also.I just needed one more.

Dang, I heard about Turkoglu and Lewis' condition. Too bad.

I really don't want the Celtics and the Cavs to go to the Finals.

Pistons win next 2 and Philly loses next 2 against Cleveland and Boston, then #6 is Detroit's.Pistons would be tied with Bulls 41-41, even head to head but would have a better conference record and Philly would get #8 with a 40-42 record.Very do-able.

They are hosed without Turkoglu 100 percent and he severely rolled his ankle last night. Orlando will go out in the 1st round regardless of who they play.
