I don't know if there is a player in the NBA that I dislike more than Darko, I hope he fails at every turn in his career.

remember, it takes big men longer to develop. we need to give darko 3 years first before we can call him a bust or not. he's only 19, is super quick and has 3 point range. LB just needs to start playing him more so he can become our big man of the future.

C - Andreas Glyniadakis
PF - Darko Milicic
SF - Tayshaun Prince
SG - Carlos Delfino/Rickey Paulding

that's a nice core for the future right there. all we'd need is to sign Theo Papaloukas to run the point and we're easily set for the next 8 years

He doesn't say anything negative about Detroit. He is just says that the situation in Detroit couldn't have been worse for him.

Still don't care for the kid much, he's a whiner.

Maxiell said he has developed a trick to help him slow down and focus at the line. "It's all mental, it's always been mental," he said. "I just say 'Happy Gilmore' and try to go to my happy place. I think of my happy place, picture my girl and shoot."

What did he say? he said, " Detroit was a bad situation...." DUH. He was drafted, assumed he'd be a major cog. Was glued to the bench. LB didn't like or want him. Joe did. He was behind the greatest team of bigs to play on this team at one time, Sheed, Big Ben, Soup, Memo, Zelly. He was kid and didn't catch on, He partied toooo hard was paid waaaay to much vs. his productivity and he's a kid with entitlement issues.... But I don't think he said anything wrong or crappy.... sensative babies around here man.

NOTE: If He don't make it in D'Antoni's system, he's out of the league after this contract!

Ahhh Dorko. I love it how every team is a new chance, a chance to prove the previous club wrong.

Got to Orlando, was pumped, said it was awesome.

Then started sulking in Orlando, wanted a bigger contract, got to Memphis and thought it was a fresh start, would be a great fit with Gasol. Shortly after he's sulking again and looking for yet another fresh start.

Fact of the matter is that he's a loose cannon who is an absolute sook regardless of the surroundings.

He didn't get time because he was horrible, couldn't even rebound.

Why don't you think Wilcox has potential Tet?

I'll admit, his work ethic may not have been the greatest in the past, but the guy definitely has what it takes to be a good player in this league.

Other than the fact that he's good at dunking the ball and sucks at defense, I don't know much about Wilcox.

I just thought it was funny the guy mocking people for thinking Darko or Delfino or Tay can still develop their games further thinks Chris Wilcox is going to become one of the best starting centers in the NBA(yes he said that).

Where does he slam Detroit? Do you guys even read the article before posting? He was talking about his situation where he played under Larry Brown and couldn't get any playing time and being stuck at the end of the bench. How is that slamming Detroit?

Feldie is right.

The kid was talking about his NBA experiences. I found what he said in no way slamming Detroit.

I'll say this though. If Darko becomes a decent player in New York, D'Antoni is the greatest coach in the history of the game. The thing is, there's a possibility Darko could become a decent player in that system... scary thought.

Chris Wilcox had 3 seasons of 13+ and 7. Shooting well over 50%. I would say he's a much better player. Numbers aren't everything, but Darko doesn't even have the talent to play in the NBA. Kwame is just a disgrace (although for what we pay him, he's decent).

Keep in mind, he's making more than Wilcox.

Chris Wilcox has got some really good talent. Not LeBron or Dwight Howard athletic, but he's a notch below the ultra elite level athletically. He's got some pretty good skill as well, can score the ball, and has some rebounding and shot blocking skills. I think he's just never been disciplined enough or coached well enough to refine all of his skills and talents to be a better player. Plus, I think he's closer to 6'8" than actually being 6'10".

I do remember that Maryland team he was on that won the NCAA tournament, I believe in 2001. It was Juan Dixon's team and Lonny Baxter was the main threat down low, but I think Chris Wilcox was the best player on that team as a sophomore.

LOL, he thinks his time in Detroit was bad, wait till the Knicks' dysfunctional organization stomps on what little spirit he claims to have left.

Exactly, that's why I said he slammed Detroit. To say that playing for the Knicks couldn't be worse than playing for the Pistons is a slam in my opinion.

It's not a slam on Detroit. He's talking about sitting on the bench and not playing in Detroit. If they lose every game and he plays, that would still be better than sitting on the bench and not having an opportunity to play in Detroit, for him.

It's not a slam on Detroit.

Darko is a much, much, much better player than people are willing to give him credit for. I think, right now, he might be better or as good as Wilcox. I think for whatever reason, people can't separate Darko from his number 2 overall status and eveluate his game objectively. Darko is a very good shot blocker and a solid rebounder. And he's got a decent mid range jumper. He can play both front court postions.

Unless he voluntarily chooses to go back overseas there is no way he can't make an NBA roster, regardless of wheter or not he has a breakout season in NY.
