Richard Hamilton for Carlos Boozer makes sense.

Utah Jazz is trying to avoid the luxury tax while still trying to sign Paul Milsap; taking on Hamilton's contract helps them avoid that....(sarcasm).

Let's just get this out of the way. Whether this is true or not, you don't have sources.

His reputation is already ruined. People who have sources use periods when they're typing.

I don't even need a source, and I can tell you he will probably be our head coach. There is much speculation that he is on top of our lists. He is a defensive coach, which is always a good thing. Hopefully he can utilize our offensive players.

It's clear Avery has the inside track for the job. [Whatever happened to the Celtics assistant who is the defensive wiz?]. The Boozer proposition is very iffy. It's clear he didn't want to come to Detroit so why would Dumars trade for him? Also, Boozer does not fill the void at the 5. Kwame cannot man the position without a reasonable back up.

he didnt want to come because he couldnt get a deal starting at what he wanted but now he can still get his 12.7 million where as if he opted out he would have been offered a deal starting at less then that

Not knocking your "sources" here; But doesn't this just seem like the rehashed scenarios that every basketball message board is recycling?
If it does happen I'm not going to look at you like some basketball genius.
Doug Collins dropped out and ESPN started reporting that Johnson was in line for it. So did every basketball fan with a Login ID.
The Pistons sign Gordon and everyone speculated what would happen with Rip. I've seen the Boozer thing a million times already.

You don't need sources to predict either of those.
As soon as Curry was fired Avery Johnson was rumored as one of the front runners.

As soon as there were rumors that we were going to sign BG and Boozer opted in, a lot of people thought that Rip for Boozer would be a possibility that made sense. Even before Boozer opted in, people were saying that if he didn't opt out, and we signed BG, Rip for Boozer would make sense.

You don't need a source to predict these things, they're well known things.

On a side note, a Rip for Boozer trade doesn't interest me. Still doesn't solve our need for a center, and I'll take Charlie V at $7 million over Boozer at $12 million.

Took a right on Lyndale I'm getting near
But then the road became empty and the people disappeared
The clouds ran away, opened up the sky
And one by one I watched every constellation die
And there I was frozen, standin in my backyard
Face to face, eye to eye, starin at the last star
I should've known, walked all the way home
To find that she wasn't here, I'm still all alone.
