What kind of source do you need to say something that everyone already is assuming is going to happen/Avery Johnson. As for Carlos Boozer, you have already downgraded that to 50/50...meaning it is just as likely to happen as not...thus means nothing.

Oh Really?,..

Come on now,..see now everybody with at least half a brain knows that Avery Johnson is the coach. It's just not been formally announced yet and will be soon. Not the best fit but unquestionably the best vet coach available. Because Joe D slept on Eddie Jordan, hasn't even interviewed Mo Cheeks and Doug Collins shouldn't have even been considered,..Doug Collins best seat is pandering behind a mike with ever changing and inaccurate analysis's.

However, as a note for your " source " the trade for Boozer isn't likely,..just say NO. Because the Jazz are allowing Milsap to be had via free agency and neither Sheed, Drew Gooden are a good fit in their system and they can't afford Odom,..and I just don't see Dice man in Utah either.

So tell your " source " that the trade to watch for is Joe D, swapping Tay or Rip for inside help. The only team that gets both would be Toronto but they have to sell tickets and Bosh may not commit long term to what Joe D's doing.

So that may not happen and I'd share who you need to be expecting to be introduced as the newest Piston. But I'd not like to be the one to totally obliterate what you're hearing from your " source ",.. LMAO !!!

Play hard enough to win not weak enough to lose,..who's next?

My sources (ESPN, espn.com) tell me that since Doug Collins withdrew his name, Avery Johnson is the leading candidate. So my sources agree with your sources on that part.

Just to confirm your sources; my sources have just informed me Avery Johnson is currently available for a head coaching job. According to these sources, he had been fired by the Mavs. Can anyone confirm if my sources are correct?

My source, a national NBA writer (Chris W. <---you figure it out), says Boozer for Rip all depends what happens with Millsap.

If OKC offers a ridiculous amount for Millsap, the Jazz will stand pat with Booz and Okur. If they can get Millsap for a reasonable amount, they will trade Boozer for Rip.

My sources indicate that Joe Dumars is currently at a Footlocker returning some shoes that he had purchesed for Rip. He was seen eyeing some Nike Zoom Sharkleys.

More to come.

Dude, Hooper has been with the organization for a while and all, but he's just the team mascot.

Boozer at the 5? I don't think so. I don't have any source, but I believe Millsap will get a good offer from OKC that the Jazz will not match. And, why give up RIP for someone who will be a free agent after this season?

Joe seems to like RIP's scoring, an I believe he wants the three guard rotation, with RIP also taking some SF minutes.

My guess is both RIP and Tay will be back, and Joe will add Dyess or maybe Frye, and possibly a true center at minimun pay, No Sources, just my opinion.

I think we'll trade PRince for a big.

Prince for Either Dalembert, Chandler, Okafor, Camby or Kaman.

BUT if the proposed trade doesnt work out, i hope we'll offer Frye a MLE

ANd if Frye chooses the Suns or Nuggets.......we still have Chris Wilcox as plan C. But Wilcox isn't better than Kwame imo, and i really doubt if he'll just accept a MLE

Signing Samb or Heytvelt is also an option after Wilcox, call that a plan D

I don't want something that was conceptualized during the teal era running our team! No offense to Hooper. He did rally us through the '04 championship though. Can't take that away from him...

There is no MLE for the Pistons. On July 8, they'll know how much more they can spend, but it's likely $3-$4 million.

Joe probably won't take Heytvelt because of his drug conviction. If we can't get Frye, we'll probably sign a veteran maybe Jamaal Magloire or Jake Voskuhl.
