I dont think Illgauskas is opting out. I think he's going to the bench. Which I think is smart on his part.

I dont know if the numbers match up on the Bargnani trade or if they need to if Raptors have cap space to make up for the 4M disparity in contracts. I love the idea though. Toronto doesnt really have a SF outside of Shawn Marion to speak of and if they dont keep Marion, Prince would come at a cheaper price.

Toronto just got Hedo and drafted Derozen. They don't need Prince. As far as I have heard they are still high on Bargnani and not looking to move him. The Wizards have Caron Butler & Mike Miller. No real need for Prince.

I don't think Joe D. notices that we don't have a starting C

He likes small ball himsself too, but we're having too many Sfs and SGs now

Draft Cole Aldrich (or another C)- In 2010- Thats the only way you can get a C.

Just pickup another couple of bigmen using the cap and vets min.

I don't see us trading Tay unless we get a starting 3 back. I am just not comfortable with Rip as the full time starter at 3.

We could trade Rip and Afflalo for Dalembert and Lou Williams/Thaddeus Young.

I don't know how high Philly is on either one of those young guys but we would send Rip back to his home state and get a defensive center and a solid, young backup

Philly would probably do that deal if they gave up Williams, but they value Young far higher than that.

And he got paid more. And his wife wanted to live in Toronto, and she wasn't really interested in living in Portland.

I still think PAchulia has the potential. At 25, 6'11" and 280lbs

Looknig at his clips, i realize he has quick feet n decent post move. If he doesn't ask for anything more than 5mil, why not?

But he will be asking for something arround 5.5mil, which we don't have

How about sending PRince to some teams under cap space for a first round pcik in 2010? Then we have another 12mil(9mil form Prince + 3mil remaining) for rebuilding of the team

Zaza and Haywood are the only realistic options that are left. Although, we have nothing to offer to Washington seeing that they do not want a Kwame repeat. Haywood will earn a 6 mil. expiring contract this year...

Other than Pachulia n Haywood, i think we also have Frye n Wilcox too?

Heytvelt n Slava Kravtsov are both undrafted this year, so we should really bring in one or two decent Cs this offseason

Yeah, but Frye nor Wilcox are 5's. It'll be interesting to see what the final product will be.

I'll go for Zaza Pachulia, he is agile, has quick feet n good post moves.

6'11" and 280lbs............sound good enough to defend Dwight Howard who is actually shorter n lighter

When Camby was unloaded from Denver to LA, Denver got better and LA got worse. I was a Camby fan back in his NY days and his healthy Denver days a few years ago, but now he will hurt us more than help us.
