Looks like Rip should come off the bench, Pistons play better starting a more natural starting 5.

Rip will give you the same 18-19 points Iverson will without all the turnovers.

Iverson is a better playmaker than Rip, and a better player. He creates a lot more space for his teammates and bigger headaches for the defense. He gets to the line better, and is like a 2nd PG with better SG skills than Rip. This is a no-brainer, Rip off the bench or out of Detroit entirely. Stop being such a hater, you're a clown.

SEE THIS IS JUST IT, ANYTHING NEGATIVE IS SAID ABOUT AI AND BAM! WE'RE CLOWNS, WE'RE HATERS. JEEZ YOU GUYS ARE TERRIBLE AI FANS! RIP WOULDN'T BE OUT THERE TRYING TO FORCE THE ISSUE AND TRIPPING OVER HIMSELF ALL GAME. OH YEA, IM A CLOWN NOW, I SAID SOMETHING BAD ABOUT AI, OH GO CRY YOURSELF A RIVER.

Posters like you are annoying because you think someone is trying to justify everything AI does, when that isn't the case. From an unbiased view, Rip probably is better suited to come off the bench, it's atleast worth a shot, anyway. Even you yourself admitted that Stuckey and Ivo were developing a chemistry.

You've not only managed to become one dimensional, but now you're fickle and bitter. You really need to spend some time away from the internet, the all caps told me a lot about your e-rage.

Get a life.

dude i need to get a life? you seem to know a lot about the all caps thing and e-rage as you call it. you do have more posts then me on this forum, and you do seem to just go into all my posts to try to take shots at me and I have to get a life? Roll Eyes

1.) Was that a comeback? Honestly, what was that? I fail to see what you're tyring to get at, but I'm not surprised considering the source (or lack thereof).

2.) I have 80 - 90 something more posts than you... but I registered 7 months before you. I'm really glad you decided to think these posts through. You're doing a great job at making yourself look more and more pitiful as the posts go on.

You should stop before you dig yourself an even deeper hole. You're about to hit China if you go any further.

pure comedy, how old are you dude? your on a computer at midnight arguing with a 15 year old on a messageboard. real classy. and most of my posts are from the game thread, people on thi sboard actually like my posts and input unlike you who just tries to bring everybody down.

It's becoming clear that:

  • Stuckey should start at point guard
  • Small ball results in too many opposition buckets in the paint
  • The energy, athleticism and post defense is better with Amir in the lineup
  • Sheed spreads the defense and needs be a starter.
  • Prince is a complete player, and should start at SF

The only question seems to be who should start at SG between AI and RIP.

[LIST]
  • AI is a better ball handler, and can drive to the basket, create energy, and create for teammates. Stuckey can do that too.

  • Hamilton can defend SG's, leaving Stuckey to defend PG's. AI can't defend against most starting SG's, forcing Stuckey to defend on the ball, and then switch to the shooting guard.

  • AI is a better scorer (although RIP shoots a higher percent). The starting unit will have plenty of scoring with either AI or RIP.

  • The 2nd unit needs a penetrating scorer, a playmaker, and a go to scorer, That's not what RIP is. With RIP on the 2nd unit, Bynum would have to play PG, with either AA or Walter Herrmann at SF. AI could defend the point for the 2nd unit, and be a big scorer.

Well, if that's the case AI would be better off of the bench. If you move Rip to the bench you will then need someone else to run the offense and be a creater. AI would be perfect at that.

Personally I don't care but one of AI, Rip or Tay need to come off of the bench.
