curry always seems to bench whichever backup big man would be most effective for the particular game (ex. no amir versus athletic teams / no kwame versus big teams). i take it kwame will be keeping the bench nice and toasty for quite some time. curry probably won't notice that ilgauskas is huge until about the 3rd quarter of game 4

Have you guys WATCHED a Cavs game all year? They would stomp us. I would be happy with two victories. Seriously, it's time to get real here. It's no accident they're 39-1 at home and we're under .500 overall.

Wake up. We don't have the talent to take out a championship team.

If our strategy is to rely on Kwame Brown, than we should be scared.

The Pistons can beat the Cavs if Billups and Ben Wallace and Memo and Mike James come back right now.

The Cavs imo are really not that good...they've been winning a lot of games this year but I really wonder how they'll hold up in the playoffs. They have absolutely no front court depth, an extremely undersized backcourt, and their star player has proven to be very unreliable in the playoffs. I really wouldn't be surprised if the Pistons gave the Cavs a run for their money or just beat them flat out.

It's Boston we should really be afraid of imo.

Yeah I know they've been GREAT this season, but the playoffs is different.

I know that our team been up and down this season. Our coach sucks, and we faced a lot of obstacles.

IMO, the Pistons have enough tools, and talent to upest the Cavs. If we don't win the series we should be able to take them to 7 games. I'll be happy with that! Remember it's a rivalry. so records mean nothing.

Whether they win against us or not. I don't want the Cavs to ever win a championship. LeTravel can go somewhere else and win it!

exactly....once the playoffs begin the records are out the window aside from the fact of home court. The cav's will be 0-0 at home....the playoffs are all that matter....beating the cavs would make my season and the fact that ben wallace may not be ready to go improves our chances...

I understand being confident in the stones, and wanting them too win, because trust me I would LOVE to see them upset a team like the Cavs.

But this thread is still filled with some silly commentary.

I'm not really confident in the Pistons at all. It's just I look at the Cavs roster on paper and then I look at ours...and we match up pretty well with them imo. Can the undersized backcourt of Mo and Delonte stay with Rip and Stuckey? Sheed and Dice are should outplay Wallace and Big Z. Pretty much I think LeBron is the x-factor and he's been pretty stoppable in past post-seasons so...

I'm not really guaranteeing we win or anything...I just wouldn't be surprised if we did beat them.

LeBron is the "Chosen One",
First round exits are no fun,
Even if we play our game,
The end rusult is still the same,
D. Stern kneels and cups the nads,
Therefore Detroit has no chance.
