Hmm what about Hamilton, Prince, and Brown for Okafer, Wallace, and Bell? Okafer and Wallace would be our oldest starters at 27. This would be a starting lineup all entering the prime of their careers at the same time.

CE E.Okafer, A.McDyess???
PF C.Villanueva, J.Maxiell
SF G.Wallace, R.Bell
SG B.Gordon, A.Affalo
PG R.Stuckey, W.Bynum

Interesting topic ... I'm a fan of Wilcox offensively BUT ... dude is not a defensive threat. This team needs a C that can alter shots and play solid defense.

Camby and Dalembert would be solid choices to fill that spot but not sure if we could realistically get them. Chandler is another choice but his health problems are an issue. But if there's anywhere he can get healthy, it's here with Kander.

Be interesting to see what Joe does.

Gortat just gave DAL a verbal commitment, so I think now is the time to go get that 7 foot shot blocking rebounder to own our lane...Ryan Hollins. If Joe doesn't sign that kid, someone wil and he'll be that guy that we all go wow, that would have been nice, he would havereally fit in nice here! He and AA went to college together for 2 seasons I belive, I think since we reunited 3 Huskies, let's get a Bruin that makes sense!

Especially if LA wants to sign and trade Ariza for Tay!
I bet Kobe, if he had to lose Ariza would be fine with replacing him with Tay!

Rip, BG, CV=Huskey Trifecta
AA, Ariza, Hollins= Bruin Bench Bunch!

Stuckey/Bynum
Rip/BG/AA
Ariza/AA/Summers/Daye
CV/Max/Daye
Brown/Hollins

I think that'd be solid, in two seasons, ECF for sure! The virsatility on that squad would be sick. Obviously we'd have to get a back up, Kwame won't be here next season!

AS the PF replacement for Odom, I still think Bynum will be the 6th man for them next year... I think they'd find a way for Tay, PJax would likely thrust him into that Point Forward role Pip had. He has many of the same skills, and in that triangle, there would def be room for Tay Tay!

Whats Powe's injury condition as of right now?

Know the dude is not a center, but if you could land him, you'd have a bigger bodied guy with a all around more consistant game even though Jmax is more explosive.

I think he'd allow you to package Jmax with somebody else if you needed to match salaries.

Options for Center

1. Sign Dice
2. Sign and trade Dice or something cleveland wants for Anderson Varejeo
3. Chandler for cheaper contracts/picks
4. Clippers look set with Randolph gone so no Kaman or Camby
5. Oakfer trade for Prince + etc hopefully
6. Boozer trade for Prince
7. Get/Retire Ben Wallace a Piston
8. Amare trade
9. Bosh trade
10. Acquire Zaza P. from Atlanta
11. Sign/Acquire _______ scrub backup center and role with Kwame Brown at the starting center.

11. seems the most likely knowing Joe D looking for diamonds in the rough.

Completely off the radar guy that might be had for cheap: Solomon Jones. He's played for the Hawks for the last couple seasons. But he's played only sparingly as he's still raw. 24 years old, soon to be 25. 6'10", 7 1/2 foot wingspan, very athletic and agile. He's put on weight on his frame but could stand to bulk up a little more.

He's a restricted free agent like Ryan Hollins, but the Hawks have a couple of their other free agents they might have to worry about first, namely Marvin Williams and Zaza Pachulia. With Jamal Crawford, they might not worry too much about Bibby and Flip Murray, but they might.

So, while Atlanta can match (not 100% sure if they extended a qualifying offer but espn.com has him still as "restricted"), they might not.

I like the potential impact the kid could have based on length and athleticism if given a more consistent chance to play. Just thought I'd throw his name out there for the heck of it.

Dampier is available. I know there are many detractors out there but the guy can clog the middle, rebound, and block shots. He would make a good, cheap pick up and would solidify the C position with Brown.

Seems to me the most realistic scenario will be getting Chandler - sure hope he's healthy if and when he comes aboard. We have to do something though since the ECF will probably mean going through Howard or Shaq this season!!
