Lets re-sign him. That would solve our problem at center.

I don't say this about too many players, but please GOD NO!
Big Ben is breaking down, he is not what he once was.

Ben there done that. No more Big Ben. His time has past. He no longer has the athleticism to make up for his lack of size.

If you could get him for a million bucks, I'd probably do it. It'd be kind of cool to have him back, even though he is all broken down. And I don't think a one year deal would pose too great a risk.

I doubt that Wallace would do it, though. He'll probably retire.

Considering we have only 8 players under contract, I would definitely sign him for the vet's minimum to fill a seat farther down on the bench. After we make our next move for a big man, signing Ben for the vet's minimum wouldn't impact our salary cap situation.

What number would he wear if he came back? The big red 3 is currently in use.

I didn't think he would be having his number retired here. But if he came back for one more year then called it quits, I think that would do it. That is, if Stuckey doesn't become a superstar.

Stuckey would have let Iverson wear number 3 if the league had allowed it. I think he wouldn't mind too much letting Wallace wear it if he came back.

I think it's kind of a moot point anyways. I really don't see him returning.

Stuckey had every intentions of giving it up. He even had another number picked out, 9. I don't think he was aware that he couldn't change it during the season.

I think being back in Detroit would give him some juice back. Based on his comments after Chauncey left, not too sure he is keen on coming back, but I would use him off the bench.

I bought my Ben jersey in like April before he signed with Chi-town. Never got to wear it to a game. That would give me something to wear besides the C-Bills jersey I continue to wear out of spite.

I'd sign him for the minimum in a hearbeat.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Im fairly certain that he averaged 7rpg when he was right last year, in less than 30 minutes.

The fact that he got bought out means he still wants to play. How many teams (good ones) want him? not many.

Plus, being in Detroit would defenitely put some juice back in the tank. When hes healthy, he can still rebound the ball. And, we dont have much rebounders on our roster period.

When you have a chance to get a former rebounding champ, who averaged 15rpg at one poitn, for 600k, you do it without hesistation.

This guy is a genious. I'd also like to point out I called it, I said he would come back the second he was traded to Phoenix.

I wish he still had game. He is too old to be a defender. It pained me to watch the Majic series and see Rashard dominate him. The old Ben could have kept in front of Lewis and stuffed his as$

2007: 26 minutes per game, 7 rebounds, 2 blocks, 1 steal per game!

2008: 23 minutes per game, 7 rebounds, 1 block, 1 steal per game.

When we have no interior defense or rebounding, you wouldnt want that for 600k?
