I'm sorry i know how much you all love him but this guy is identical to Allen Iverson minus the whining and complaining. He comes in takes horrible shots turn the ball over. Everyone got so high on him for what? Because he comes in and takes every shot with only 2 assits in 28 minutes? I'm sorry but this guy is no different then iverson. Don't dog me for this just my opinion. But other then last nights game he has been horrible this season.

slam jam thank you mam

Yea he is clearly a bench player, no idea why you would want him to start over Stuckey who since he has been out with the early fouls has seen the team get spanked without him.

You indicated yourself the difference. He realizes he's a bench player and he's not causing any rift by demanding to start or getting star treatment or missing practices because he stayed all night at the casino. If Iverson understood that last year, maybe things wouldn't have been so bad. I'm not a big fan of Will Bynum either. I do think he forces up shots way too much. But, he does make things happen. He does initiate things. And, when he does, a lot of times it results in something positive. I agree with your assessment to a degree, but I rather have Will Bynum forcing things and trying to make positive things happen rather than a point guard who isn't a threat to score and doesn't really do anything but pass the ball.

Like i said minus the complaining and whining. I don't think he realizes he is a bench player. A bench player needs to come in take good shots be patient and wait for good shots cause most of the time bench players are not play makers. Will Bynum trys to make things happen to much. I'm fine with him trying to make plays though. What upsets me is when the pistons have a big possession he comes down the court with 15+ on the shot clock and no one else touches the ball and he just drives out of control throwing up bad shots. Thats not a good player. He could be an okay player if he got smarter, thats the main thing i think detroit point guards do not have.

I was going to post about how Will Bynum nearly won and lost the game for us yesterday due to his poor shot selection late in the 4th. But this game made me want to post.

Someone needs to calm him down and just tell him to run the offense. It's frustrating watching him dribble for 10 seconds and then jack up a shot and have the other team run for an easy fast-break.

More than anything, I think this team needs a traditional PG who can play solid defense. We have too many guards who are "offense-first" with very little defense, and it shows when we get killed on the pick-and-roll.

maybe we should bring back carlos arroyo. that guy was so good at realizing he was a bench player that he did virtually nothing at all. those are the kinda guys we need. the nerve of guys on the bench having confidence Roll Eyes

will bynum is the type of reserve i've wanted on this team since 05. he's fearless, relentless, cheap and can go off like a star on any given night.

and before tonight with a grand total of 3 in 32 minutes, will bynum has yet to record more than 2 TO's in any game this season. im not sure why you're complaining about turnovers

Yea and guess what, he won't be a bench player on our team for too much longer when someone offers him a starting job like Mike James and Mehmet.

I was kind of liking how someone got some balls on the team and tried to take it at some big men. Got the two bigs out of Tuesday's game. Got us the win.
