He shoulda been traded 2 years ago, along with Amir, when they were both at maximum value.

The question isn't will he be traded, it's when. I'm hoping it will be by the deadline. Some people love him, some don't. I think he's overated. I'm not saying he's a bad player, but for 11 mil a year he's not worth it.

He doesn't fit with this team anymore, our offense was so much better with the 3 guards. Now I no we can't do 3 guards all game, but we did draft 3 SF's ,let's see what they can do. Trade Tay before it's to late.

Pistons are finalizing a deal as we speak with Orlando involving Tayshaun Prince and Jason Maxiell for Dwight Howard.

Just a few more little changes in the trade agreement, and it will be done. I'm not so sure about it though. I think the Magic should throw in 2 first round picks as well. It would only be fair.

He just plays lazy to me. There was a couple times at the end of the game where they ran a pick for Durant and Tayshaun didn't try and fight through the screen he just simply picked up the other player which automatically caused miss matches all over the court.

slam jam thank you mam

+1: Did you see him play his usual get out of the way defense at Memphis? He runs away from contact, won't block shots even though he has the length too, not taking charges, not getting in anyones way. He is lazy.

Prince gets a couple fluke plays every season and he'll make headlines.

The guy is trash and should have been traded last year (or preferably, the year before that).

The first possession in the OKC game, he had a turnover. Guy is awful.

Well Hamilton has to be healthy first and Daye et al need to earn more than 1 minute of playing time. Be patient, trading Prince would have been a mistake. We had nobody on the roster to step in for him. We still don't, but this could change. Hopefully Daye or Summers can earn PT.

Tay played 44 minutes against the Thunder, and always has the toughest defensive assignment. I'm not surprised his offensive game suffered in the 2nd half.

Coach Q apparently has no confidence in the rookies. He should not have played Tay 44 minutes with back to back games. Until Daye or Summers are capable of filling in for Prince, he's the most important player on the team.

Tayshaun is turning into what Michael Curry use to be when he was here.. He's getting toast by the bigger sf (which he always has) and now by the lengthy sf... It's time to move on look for a trade like we did for Curry for hunter this yr or next yr.. I believe the safe bet is trading him to Utah along with wilcox for boozer and brewer... We can slide brewer to the 3 spot...

Bosh or Boozer will be a piston before the yr is over..

If Rip wasn't hurt tay wouldn't have played so many minutes trust me... As far as daye goes ... it's the same thing that rick carisle did with tay as a rookie, here and there minutes.. Jerekbo will get more playing time than daye until he proves he deserves to play.. sorta like when the coach back is against the wall and they have no other option but to use daye..

Yes, but coach Q doesn't seem to trust anyone to backup Tay even for a few minutes. If they traded Tay they'd need to get a SF to replace him. Stuckey, Hamilton and Wallace have players who can fill in for them. Prince and Villanueva do not.

We could do a whole lot worse.
