To stop throwing up garbage? Another below 40% shooting game. 5-18 tonight. He starts off great and then just goes down hill. Kuester needs to pull his *** aside and tell him to be smarter out there. I realize Rip is out and it seems Stuck is taking it upon himself to make up for his absence. What I do like about Stuck is his rebounding. 9 yesterday and 10 today (3 off). His assists haven't been too bad either. If Stuck can just solidify his decision making he will be exactly what we need.

When he wants to shoot, he needs to just drive the lane at all times... even if he misses, he has a real shot at getting to the FT line. He's better suited for that anyway, it's like he's wasting his athleticism by trying to be a jump-shooter.

He definitely sucks as a jump-shooter.

Agreed, but he's been settling for the J's since Rip went out. Again, I think he feels he needs to fill Rip's shoes. He should drive at all times, he had a couple of nice buckets and drew some nice fouls late in the 4th.

Hard to develop a jump shot if you don't take any jump shots. He's worked on driving the lane the past few years. Now it's jump shots and court vision.

Agree with this too. Everyone on this board wants Stuckey to stop shooting jumpers, but the only way to improve is to take them when it counts.

Lol I'm sorry here my man but that is the dumbest thing I've ever read. Yes it may help but the best way to improve your jumper is Ummmmm....practice lol. You don't go into the season just shooting jumpers to get better at them lol. Thats what practice is for to get better. Ben wallace sucks at free throws we mise well get him the ball more and let him attack the rim and draw fouls so he can work on free throws.

slam jam thank you mam

lol I see what you mean, but that's two different animals ha! There's a major difference in shooting jumpers in an empty practice facility and an actual game. If he's taking them and hitting them in actual games, it'll be major for his confidence, practice? Not so much.

I've never ever seen someone drive to the lane so many times jump so high and not dunk the ball he is so athletic yet he misses so many layups cause he don't dunk the ball lol. I've never ever said that before. Usually i half to tell my players that are in high school to stop trying to dunk, but gosh i wish stuckey would just dunk once in a while.

slam jam thank you mam

I've always wondered this as well. He needs to slam something nasty from time-to-time. His rookie year he had some nice dunks, but he did get it blocked a lot.

Can yu realy teac someone how to shoot? His percentage is so awful.

Stucky;s rebounding skills makes me think of him as a small foward.

You don't practice your jumper during a game. You work on it during the off season, during practices, in summer leagues, so you don't shoot sub .40 percent in the games that count.

Great jump shooters don't just start draining them in games, it is usually because they shoot 100's if not 1000's of jumpers a day.

He his shooting is killing us. I wish Rip would hurry up and get the hell back. But I like to see his rebounds so high. A good rebounding guard can be valuable.

I'd prefer a double-double of points and assists rather than rebounds.

What was he, 5 of 18, with five blocks? Does it take five blocks to figure out the refs are not going to call the contact in his favor?

He needs to penetrate and pass off to an open man. Hopefully, his shots will come down when RIP and Prince come back.
