Something has to be brewing!

He must be part of a deal..why else would we sign him?

TV reporter: Is this a common training method? I mean, do other fighters pound raw meat?
Rocky: No, I think I invented it.

Tyson Chandler...that is all I am asking. Though CP3 is going to be ****ed if this goes down. "Yeah, we traded your center that you have developed such a great chemistry with..BUT!!!! we got you Kwame Brown in his place."

I know fans love Chandler for his defensive abiltities but, in all honesty, who's going to pass him the ball? If any center/big was to expect to get some feed from Stuckey or Gordon...

That's why I hated to see Collins pull out, he would have made sure we played the right way.

Something is brewing and I think if Joe is making a move sooner than later i think would hope it would involve shipping Ben Gordon and trade filler to Golden State for Biedrins! I know I'm probably going to catch flak for saying this but if we can get production at all out of washington offensely I'm quite sure he's a better defender than Gordon and we need a Center in the worst possible way! Biedrins and Charlie V would be a beast to deal with!

We won't be able to trade Washington for 30 days, though.

So...

If we sign Deron to a three year contract we would have a window of 48 hours to trade him befor we could not for 30-90 days (Somewhere between those 30-90 days).

I found this on another messageboard.

From the CBA:

A team cannot sign and immediately trade a draft pick in a sign-and-trade arrangement (see question number 76).

Also

Generally, a player cannot be traded until three months after signing a contract or December 15th of that season, whichever is later. This does not apply to draft picks, who can be traded 30 days after signing their contract.

Deron is a special player. If he has really improved his Jumper and handles. He should be on the squad.
He's better than our 2nd round picks this year still

We need 1 starting guard with 3pt range period.

Something may have been in the mind of Dumars, however Washinton is lowering his already small value with each outing in Summer League.

Hope this signing does not hurt the team.

Hey Joe D. unload this guy at your earliest convenience.

He boards well and generally stays in front of his man.

Stuck/Bynum/RIP/Gordon/Tay/Summers/Daye.....Yeah, this guy is never going to be asked to score the ball...D specialist and rebounder from the 2 or 3...Don't worry bout it.

He is unquestionably an elite athlet in an NBA body but judging from his summer league games he has no outside shot and cannot hit free throws. I still think he needs to make the squad to develop his game under Kuester. He wont b anything more than a roll player but thats all we really need if wer going to be keeping Stuckey, RIP and Gordon.

Well a good athlete in an NBA body is a lot of players. Heck it's a lot of basketball players who are not even in the league, especially when he can't shoot. That could be some kid playing basketball in the streets. To me Washington is a good athlete who can jump. But he is way to out of control and he has no shot at all.

slam jam thank you mam

He can't shoot, plain and simple. 1 for 6 and 4 for 12 from the line, doesn't matter how high he can jump, you have to be able to score in the NBA. Keep hearing NBA is going to more of an offensive game and we are signing players who can't shoot straight. Makes no sense

Joe D. signed him because before the season starts, he actually has to have a basketball team...
