What do you believe now? Do you all still think that the awful playing of Detroit Pistons is/was Iverson fault? Well let me just say that it was never Iverson fault in the begining. The fault was glued to Iverson when coach curry realized that he would not be successful with a team that planted a point guard who do not have no idea about how to play at the point. First it started with a coach (curry) who still are having problems about how to utilize the men that was given to him.

Detroit was failing before Iverson came here. He was not traded to be the player to save Detroit from the problems that they have or had for the past two to three years. They thought that Stuckey was going to be this great point guard in one season to take them to the promise land, well I do not think that he is going to ever be a great point guard in this league. I think that he would be a very good guard, but for now he is playing out of his position, all because of a coach who do not understand basketball even though he plays it.

They play the blame game on Iverson because of who he is, his name is huge in the NBA and around the world, as a matter of fact, his name might be even bigger than the Detroit Piston. What I am saying is that it was much easier using his name to cover the mess that was created by someone else. Do not forget that Iverson did not get to be a superstar in the NBA because of anything else but his game.

I think that Detroit disrespected just like so many in this league did, but was never able to stop him from being who he is. You all know that from watching the body language of the Piston players while Iverson was on the court at the same time tell us that they did not want to play with him. Now it is evident in the things that they continue to say. They are set in their ways, they do not understand that piston style of basketball is long over(time to stop crying like babies because billups is not around). He is not coming back, get over it and move on. Time to learn a new style of basketball.
