It's on ESPN. I stopped paying for my insider account because it wasn't worth it, so I don't know what it says. But I don't care.

Just letting yall know that article is there.

I don't know why espn makes you pay for this stuff...and I really don't know why I pay for it (ESPN the Mag is a good get in the mail though)

Rest assured...here is what the article says

UConn guards can play together
With memories of the failed Allen Iverson experiment, there is already speculation brewing that Richard Hamilton might have trouble co-existing with Ben Gordon, also a shooting guard. Hamilton dismissed such talk, saying that the two scorers from UConn would be just fine.

"I think it's going to be great," Hamilton joked as he spoke with the Detroit Free Press. "I always told y'all that Connecticut has the best program in the world.

"We produce the best guards in the world so it's a blessing. Adding him to our team takes a load off me with scoring and things like that with all the things he brings to the offensive end, so it's a big plus for us."

It could be worse. Your home-grown franchise player can be written off as having one foot out the door and your starting shooting guard and jack-of-all trades guy can be arrested for having 3 concealed weapons and missing the first 2 practices of the year.

I have high hopes for the Cavs, but if West can't get his head out of his ***, there will be problems.

Delonte is a 2nd rate basketball player. He's a dime a dozen IMO.

I think the Cavs will be dominate either way.

Liquid - Yeah man, I wasn't complaining about you, the original author was misleading with his title.

Yeah Cav fans overvalue west too much IMO. He's a smaller version of Larry Hughes without the magical season under his belt.

As long as BG is ok with being the 6th man, I see this working well. BG wants to do more than shoot; and he & Rip can play together with Rip at SF. BG also wants to play some PG too. They have different games that should work well on the court together and give other teams problems. We have a very strong back court this season. BG has a much better and more team oriented attitude than AI ever has.

AI's ego was a major problem with not being a team player, not being willing to come off the bench - but expecting Rip to do it, and hogging the ball were huge reasons for last seasons problems and losing record. Don't expect that from BG, he wants to win and has a good attitude.

I agree many Cavs fans over-value West, but what I see in him is a player who plays with a lot of grit and isn't afraid of any moment. He's a good shooter, good ball handler, above-average defender despite his short stature and has been clutch and fearless in the playoffs for the past 2 years.

He's no all star, but he's certainly no Hughes either. IMO, he is an above average role player but it's his hard-nosed approach to the game that really make me respect his game.
