i was asking because on nba tv they ask cheryl miller who she think was going to win the championship and she said detroit but they gone have to do it without katie smith cause she retiring and i wanted to kno if yall heard that she was.

She better not be retiring yet!!! I have plans to finally see her play in person this year!! I haven't heard anything like that. I wondered when they said she graduated in January if this would be her last year of playing. Hope Not!!!

Katie will leave sooner or later... she has done it all during her career.... I think the Shock should think about trying to find someone to step in when she decides to leave.....

Lisa Lezlie is retiring, i guess Katie could be next!! I agree that Detroit needs start planning for her to leave and look for a replacement now.
