who would have thought it, but at this point, the teams that most people thought would win their respective conferences (Detroit and Los Angeles) are both 1-4 and in last place, with their only wins coming against each other.
The Shock seem to be having problems scoring, especially on the front line. They seem to be relying too much on the outside shooting of Nolan, Smith, and company and opposing defenses are probably noticing this and adjusting to take away the outside game.
And this could be the reason for the inconsistency of the Shock. They look good for one, two, maybe even three quarters, but then totally get blown out in the remaining quarters. This was evident again today, as they looked great in the first half but folded in the second.
